      Oh man, you're absolutely right! I doubt they would let you, but the terrain would have been perfect for it! On a nice clear night, I bet the star gazing would be incredible!

      Lol, well that's the wonderful thing about traveling in a campervan... we have a restroom on board, so we never need to stop! :)

    what a stunning place! would love to see more shots of the setting as have never been to Canada.
    perhaps invest in a selfie stick with a wide angle ;-) or perhaps invent one with twigs?

    In your photos, the picture of the yellow slipper flower, which is located in the foreground on the left, I swear it looks like an orchid! I know orchids grow in all types of places, usually in humid, warm environments. I would never guess an orchid would grow in in Newfoundland! Do you know if it is an orchid or another type of flower? (I'm so excited because orchids are my favorite flower.)

    • @BackToReality
      @BackToReality  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Monique Liddle
      As far as I know, you're right. It's a Yellow Lady's Slipper Orchid. I'm no expert though ;)

    • @31mcml
      @31mcml 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love seeing orchids in the wild and to think you got that gorgeous picture of it! Can I add it to my personal pictures? If I do use it, I will be sure to use your name and TH-cam post.

    oh boy! the guy and girl have returned ! yippee, wondered if you were all ok! Happy to see you back, did you miss the AL playoffs betw. toronto and kc best play off i have seen in years. i always liked the jays and look forward to next year. had to have a nap yesterday as 14 innings is a tad bit long. yes i did grow up in kc. i n the mid 1950's charley finley brought the "A' s" to kc and handed out cards to all the schools about becoming "athletic supporters' was a huge funny to the junior high and high school crowd! how the hell did i digress to this poiint......lol duh!

      lol, digression indeed! :) We did catch some of the games. Paula used to play ball when she was younger, so she was especially into it. I'm less so, but it was nice to have the Jays doing so well for a change! :)

      I think it was around 5-10°C that day, which would make it 40-50°F.
