Can you imagine the harbor at St. Johns as a marshalling point for convoys across the Atlantic and north to Murmansk,,and Archangel, all gone now and U-boat and their packs as well. Thank you for the peaceful harbor view and wonderful trip.
I feel like I was right there with you guys. Your narration pulled me right in. I told you once before, that had you been my teacher, I would have been a much better student. There are kids out there that need a teacher like you. Thanks for the tour :-)
+NoProGoPronto Thanks so much NoProGoPronto! I very much appreciate your comment. :) We're really glad that you've been enjoying our videos. Thanks for watching, and commenting!
I only came across your channel about a week ago and I have to say what a fantastic trip so far. While you were in St John did you happen to go to the Moosehead Brewery. That's my favorite beer. In fact I just finished one before I posted this. Thanks again I am thoroughly enjoying this series. This trip is making me want to get my passport so I can visit your beautiful country. I'm your southern neighbor.
As always. Great video guys! It's weird to see these videos knowing that you've been home for a little while now. Man there is so much more for you to upload.! Can't wait!!!!
+Jeff Dale Lol, tell me about it! I'm really looking forward to getting into some real time videos again. It's been incredible reliving the trip, but my goodness, there are so many more things to cover! :)
Your voice over and the scenery is simply amazing!! I am currently taking a us history class for school and I have learned so much about Canada from you and Paula. Have you ever considered teaching history? I think you would be an amazing tracher.
+Babynursegreen Thanks so much! I really appreciate that feedback! I've always been very interested in history, and did consider becoming a teacher when I was younger. Thanks for your comment. I'm really glad you're enjoying our videos. :)
WOW! So beautiful. Great video production. I hope one day I can do just as good. I've subscribed to your channel. I look forward to watching from the beginning!
+jahkgdm The van isn't AWD unfortunately - though we often treat it like it is.. lol We're not 100 percent sure about the winter yet, but we're having fun trying to figure it out... ;)
+xingcat Thanks so much Xingcat! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! We don't do any writing for travel publications, but that's a really interesting idea. I'll have to look into it! Thanks for the suggestion! :)
+Greg Hinze That's awesome Greg! We've visited / hiked a couple US National Forests, but only in the north east, New England area. Good luck to you on your challenge!
+Sher Thom We have been working on a book actually, but it's been on the back-burner a bit lately, unfortunately. Gosh, I wish there were more hours in the day! Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate the feedback, and the compliment :)
*I find it odd how you'll go and be sure to pick up a bottle of ginger ale, but episodes back you just left half an exploded tire on the side of the road. What's your reasoning behind this???*
+itwasabaddream Thank you for asking this question, as it gives me an opportunity to clarify. We didn't actually leave any of the tire pieces on the side of the road. We securely strapped all of the bits onto our rear hitch rack, and carted them along with us until we could dispose of them properly at a garage. We care great deeply for our natural environment and would never (knowingly/intentionally) litter in such a way. Thanks for watching, and for your comments! :)
Oh My, that rings A bell. Not that Sweden (where I come from) was that involved in WW2, but that costal, armored defense. The entire eastern coast of Sweden just to be littered with fortifications like these, to defend against the Russians who live like 1.5 hours flight away from us. It´s all gone, time and technology has made them redudant
Historically, and at present, there is a fear of "The Russian" (historically, we started 8/10 wars with them, ehm.) But, however, most of swedens defense is directed towards the east..Just in case ;) Thanks for all of ur replies!!
Canada seems like a really beautiful country to me. I would like to visit it one day :)
Well, that sunrise was worth the wait! Great video all the way around. Thanks so much for sharing!

I can't imagine what it must have been like to live there during those periods. Such a peaceful place with such a turbulent past.
I feel like I was right there with you guys. Your narration pulled me right in. I told you once before, that had you been my teacher, I would have been a much better student. There are kids out there that need a teacher like you. Thanks for the tour :-)

You guys definitely live the life you love. Where you guys heading for winter? Is your van AWD? 4x4 winter camping is my favorite. Thanks!!
+jahkgdm
The van isn't AWD unfortunately - though we often treat it like it is.. lol
We're not 100 percent sure about the winter yet, but we're having fun trying to figure it out... ;)
Oh, that sunrise! Also, your narration is fantastic. Do you do any travel writing for online publications? You should send this in as an example.
+xingcat

I’m from there. I’ve done a drone video at sunrise at same location years ago.
Cool, Did you have link or video about west coast and Yukon?thanks
You were much further East than Bermuda.
Bermuda is roughly South of Halifax.
Are you writing a book? It sounded like you were reading a chapter from it. You have a way with words.
+Sher Thom
We have been working on a book actually, but it's been on the back-burner a bit lately, unfortunately. Gosh, I wish there were more hours in the day! Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate the feedback, and the compliment :)
+A Guy. A Girl. And a Campervan Park that van somewhere beautiful and write your book. The world needs it.
Sher, that might just be the most inspiring comment I've received to date. Thank you. So much.
That is beautiful! And the Vikings were there I am sure! And... and... and... : )
+Vic Smith
Thanks Vic, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great videos. I was wondering what kind of camera you used for your beautiful photos. Also what did you use for your videos? Thanks.

That's really cool Mike! I know very little about Swedish history. I find these little tidbits interesting!
