Thank you
The minute she’s released from that state hospital she will go right back to her spot on the street. Waiting for art to visit her. She even said when first asked what she will do at a group home. She said leave. That’s exactly what she will do
U can tell she answering yes to anything , she wants out
Angela needs an advocate in there. She needs assistance with advocating for what she wants, filling out the paperwork that is needed such as consents to disclose information to the people she wants so that her caseworker can talk to other people, her access to the phone, etc. It is sounding like to me that maybe she is under a court order and some of her rights have been taken away, but if that is the case she really needs an advocate to explain to her what the court is allowing and disallowing because I can guarantee you she is not understanding what is going on and why. She should really be having a social worker handling all of this stuff in the proper way and it does not sound like that is happening. I feel like Angela keeps falling through the system cracks because she never gets a good advocate and a good social worker. As a previous social worker, I know they are all overworked and underpaid, especially when working with individuals who are operating with Medicaid. However, I still did my best for everyone that I could.
Doesn’t she have a case manager?
@firstmedtech, yes, but her caseworker sounds as though she's overworked and didn't have time to answer a simple question that wouldn't have taken long to answer. When can I get visitors?
Her voice is so sweet when she isn't using
True!!!
Agree❤😊
We all know that unfortunately she won’t stay in a group home. She just said she would leave. She likes the street.
I agree, she won’t stay in. I don’t think many people leaving comments here understand that mental illness often is a spiritual illness too and very difficult to “fix” with a shot. They are extending her life but she’s feral and I don’t think she will ever get better. Most people that watch this case with Angela are very naive.
Well you got to be clean in those places I think that is the problem.
I'm staying positive
@@debbieadams415 will they take her to a group home? Is there even one available? How many times has Angela been court ordered, then released to a group home and left? Or release her to cass or whatever it’s called. Angela is smart enough to play the system. She knows exactly what to say to get out and go right back to her sidewalk. She needs to be asked answered open question not yes saying “yeah” to everything.
💯 True.
She is not going or she is not going to stay. She just said that.
She only wants the shot so she can get out of there. I feel she just tells Art what she thinks he wants to hear.
What shots are they giving her? Hope you don't mind me asking.
She just says yeah to everything. More clearheaded but child like
Well, she has a mental illness. She has been committed enough times to know the key to getting released is agreeing with everything. She wants to go back to her sidewalk, she does not want to go to a group home. Let’s pray they keep her for an extended stay so she can value having a bed, restroom and roof over her head.
Yeah, yeah, fine, fine.
She needs to go a treatment center for drug abuse like cass ,something that will treat her addiction first before being in a group home.
Don’t leave, Angela, stay there where it’s safe. Give it a try, make some real friends.
Prayers and positivity for Angela 🙏🏼
Most folks need to be reminded just how mentally ill she truly is with or without drugs. This video was very insightful.
What about her drug addiction? Does everyone think she gonna stay in a group home being an addict?
Praying for Angela ❤
They probably busy and not allowed to disclose information except to emergency contact or family
Angela can be an addict and still stay in a group home. She will retain all rights that any US citizen has; therefore, she can come and go as she pleases. So, if she wants to leave and use drugs she can certainly do that and then come back home. Now, the agency that provides the housing may not like that and kick her out, but it just depends on the agency. As a social worker who used to manage residential options, unless someone had rights taken away by the courts or they had a guardian who restricted what they could do, they were allowed to come and go as they pleased.
She needs to sign a release of information form with the name, relation to patient and phone number in order to be added as a visitor or to be in contact with any staff in the facility. She probably doesn’t know the correct terms to use to request this release of information form. So sad. 😢
@@It_is_me_hi_hello_heyNOT in the state of oregon! No drug use or alchohol
Not in the state of oregon, I am a nurse, and the resident must sign legal binding agreement on house rules (absolutely no drugs or alcohol) in recovery treatment ( in house/including privileged outings). Group housing programs in Oregon are strict, and group homes are court ordered only
Damn her Case Manager
does not sound compassionate. Working in that field , I know it can be tiring and taxing but take that attitude somewhere else These beautiful people in their care need compassion and understanding They have enough to deal with, within there selves. ❤

Oh honey, be careful telling people where you live
Angela is not happy right now..she wants her freedom. I think it will be difficult for her.
I pray 🙏 Angela will stay in a group home. She sounds great ❤
Stay strong Angela, please don't leave! Patience will give you what you need...sending positive vibes and love ❤🙏💯🙌
Don’t give up on yourself Angela . God sees your strength and he is Blessing you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Please pray for Angela that she stays in the program and group home
Angela sounds so good right now. Folks we really need to really pray that Angela will stay in the group home. Let’s not be so negative and doubt that she will stay. Let’s think positive thoughts. People do change let’s not give up on Angela. Let’s build her up and encourage her.
Let's be real.
Amen! I agree!🙏🦋
@@kathrynbarr9084 I’m being real anything is possible with god and prayer.
❤
I hope she stays in the group home long enough to get her ID, food stamps, SSI, medical attention and attend meetings. I think if she stays in there long enough, she would be more likely to be a candidate for a permanent home. She needs some structure and caring people who can guide her big time if this is going to be successful. Thank you, Art, for encouraging her to stay in the group home! I hope the shots help her mental condition, but I hope her addiction is not overlooked. Praying for Ms. Angela!
Praying for Angela, sad, I feel like she’s never felt cared for so she’s hinting to Art to see if he cares for her, “you been to that street to see anybody?”, “waiting for me? “Waiting to see me”.. like she has feelings for Art.. she’s getting attached. I’ve been noticing this more in each conversation.. She even asked if Shorty was his gf .. etc. heartbreaking. Feeling like nobody wants you is a terrible feeling.
I'm an intuitive empath & she is definitely misinterpreting some things. Art tried to send a message with his answers throughout that part of the conversation, but she took them differently than he intended. It makes me sad that she has had so little love & kindness that she is vulnerable & can so easily mistake kindness & caring for more than it is. I'm pretty sure this is going to break her heart at some point, since I don't think the system will ever address her emotional/behavioral needs to prepare her to be back in the real world.
You can tell she knows Art cares about her, she needs attention & love. Shes really a sweet person
Art your calls to Angela are very important to her. Please keep calling Angela 🙏❤❤
Why do the workers there always sound sooooo rude !? Seems when she asks a question they never speak back nice to Angela. Those workers are at the wrong job with attitudes like that. They don’t know how to talk kind ! 😡
While I agree with this, you can also look at it from their POV. It isn’t easy working with mentally ill individuals who can ask the same question a million times, etc. While everyone should be treated with respect, humans are humans and can also lose their cool too. Everyone is entitled a bad day. Prayers for all🙏🏼
Ya they are rude non caring
@@CristinaaaCCI’ve said this multiple times. They have scheduled times with their case managers and psychiatrists. Those are the times to ask those questions. I’m sure these workers have to be stern with them.
@@KatieAllison77 Sure, and as we know since Angela is so mentally ill, she clearly doesn’t follow or know how to follow instructions.
Very true they shouldn't work there if they can't be professional and like their job. I've had same experiences. That might be one of the reasons she always wants to leave.
Continued prayers for Angela ❤🙏
She doesn’t seem to be focusing on staying clean. When she says the group home will only be good for three months makes me think she plans on using.
She probably can’t think 3 months ahead Art. Too much for her to process
I have a sad feeling the hospital will simply release angela, and we will see her again homeless 😢 thankfully she has you art and frank ❤
LORD I pray, pray 🙏 that this lady gets well and gets her life together.❤🙏
I think they treat her bad in there
Praying for Angela hope she stays in the group home and not leave. Love you Angela take care of yourself. Angela sounds so good. ❤🤗🙏
I hope she stays in the group home where she is safe, fed, warm and clean. Cared for! I hope she will get the medical attention she needs for her poor eye and arm. Its too cold, windy, maybe rainy, just not good for her..
Glad you are safe and warm Angela ❤ I wish you could call her case manager. She really wants to see you. You are really very good with Angela. ❤❤
Now that she has detoxed, if she goes back to using drugs and blows things at the group home, she may not be given another chance at housing. The state can't keep helping people that don't want help. I wish I could say I have a lot of hope for her but her saying she would probably leave the group home, means she will definitely leave. It's not easy adjusting to a new environment with new people and I don't think Angela will stay in the group home. I wish it were different. All I can do is pray. I'm cracking up that Angela is asking about Shorty.
'You waiting for me'?? She is so hopeful. What a sweet soul. Praying that it will all work out for her. She is really so vulnerable.
Bless Angelia for a healthy bright future fulfilled wonderful mentors she really needs help and not the negative life ❤️
Prayers for you a better life Angela❤ your questions are weird dude she needs surgery on the eye and her arm💔 prayers she stays warm and protected she's waiting for someone to say I love you Angela😢
I just love her. Prayers for Angela, stay strong Angela!
DON'T leave the group home please!!! Personal experience that it's the worst decision 😢 tough it out girl. It's worth it!❤
This makes me so happy to hear her talking and making more sense. She needs to be in a safe place.
FATHER God bless watch over Angela in every Mom of everyday. I pray Amen!!!
Thank you for all you do for Angela and to keep us informed.
"I'll call u frequently,!" 😭💙
Art you handled that conversation very well.
Actually getting scary the fact that she’s questioning that 😮 for someone that’s unstable…she’s in her own mindset..
Something just doesn't sound right. Prayers it works out for Angela.
Oh please Angela stay. You always sound so good now. So many praying for her out here. If she really only knew how much she is loved. We all need to continue to pray for her and not just her anyone who is struggling in this life.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
After detoxing it takes time to start feeling joy again even in the little things. Please stay strong Angela
Bless you Angela,, hope she stay in group home
Sad...she likes Frank, but that addiction is calling her.
❤❤❤I hope for Gods will for her, no matter what shes up against!!!!
Angela is so blessed to have you in her life, Frank as well. You always follow through with everything you do for her. You're also so good at directing & redirecting her when having a conversation, she seems to really trust you, so hopefully she'll listen to & take your advice. Wish the case manager would call you but from the sound of her tone...but we can hope? I'm sure they have their hands full, daily & I can imagine it's a very difficult job that hardens your personality after some time. Can't wait to see what the future holds. Appreciate you taking the time to post all the updates, thanks!❤❤
Hey from south Carolina I'm happy for her I pray she gets all the help she needs
People like her case manager makes it very hard for Angela to want to stay! She did not have to be so rude! 😢
Yes that's very rude !!
Pray for ANGELA 🙏.
Absolutely. It’s going to take a miracle because she still isn’t getting it. Why people can’t hear her frantic desperate attempt to manipulate Art is beyond me. I think they should leave her be to do what she wants she doesn’t want help. She wants cigarettes, monsters, smear makeup up on her clothes and face. Oh and she wants ‘G’. Waste of taxpayer $.
Angela…Just stay strong,positive vibes.. 🙏🏽❤️🌎
Angela ❤️🩹 You really, really look good, and your voice is amazing! The clarity is night and day. I've been watching your story from the beginning. So many people are praying for you and rooting for you Angela! You got this 👍 💪
I pray we will get to fully meet Sober...Healthy Angela ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t think anyone can help her it sounds like the street is where she knows where she wants to live bless her ❤she does sound a lot better
It’s hard to know what is ,going on with her when she just says yeah to everything. She says yeah to everything then when asked a second time she doesn’t know the answer. It’s hard to know if she is just saying what ever to get what she wants or needs.
Praying she stays in the group home once they find her one
It's her life and her free will
She wont stay a waste of time
If that was in fact the case manager that was the most unethical and unprofessional conduct I have heard. This is why people shy away from getting help be ause they get treated like absolute trash. That case manager should be reported. She demonstrates a poor quality of professionalism. Many more people like her get away from it as they count the people needing help don' 7:58 t say nothing. Of they do they are ignored I'm spite of violating there rights.its not the rules that's hard it's the treatment! I hope that case manager gets the same treatment she demonstrated to Angela when she gets old and needs help. Carma! 😢So Sad.
I doubt that was her case manager though. They are not always at the facilities. I think she's just been asking anyone walking by the poor thing.
Sadly that’s how people are treated in a psych unit. No respect shown to the patients
I agree totally. There’s no reason to treat her like that. That was completely and totally unprofessional. These people go to school and get trained for these jobs. I guess her social worker didn’t learn a thing. Karma is a B.
there people that actually are wanting help, don’t waste it on her, she’s not serious at all
Yes, court ordered treatment. Hope everything works out and she doesn't slide back.
I'm glad your sage Angela! One day at a time but we're all rooting for u❤❤❤❤❤
This makes me so sad 😢 I wouldn’t want to be there ,Angela needs her freedom x x🏴🏴
Prayers sending healing
love you Angela stay safe. i am praying for you sweet heart. i hope the best for you. sending love and hugs god bless you Angela.🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
She sure sounds so different! Much Healthier! Many blessings to her in going forwards! She sure was Beautiful when her and her twin were younger! Sad what drugs do to ppl!
Angela's a beautiful soul!! This makes my heart warm, praying she takes advantage of all these oppurtunities! ❤
I really hope this works for her. The invega sustenna shot will last for a month. If it goes well, there are every 3 or every 6 month versions.
I still am not sure she understands the timeline of a group home. If this is their plan for her, it's in the very distant future😢
It would make sense to get her stabilized on antipsychotics before treating the substance use disorder. Which will need to happen. None of this is happening in a week or 2.
Checking in from Denver, North Carolina. Continued prayers Angela❤
We love you Angela♡
Hey Art, why can’t you call the facility and find out what her times are to have visitors
That is what I was wondering if Art could call the facility and show concern for Angela and let them know he wants to see her. Bless you Art.
@@lindawright7531 Angela has to do the leg work of adding At and Frank’s name to a list of visitors. They already went to see her and they wouldn’t let them in because Angela hasn’t taken the necessary steps.
Agreed. The patient has to give permission and the names of who she wants the case manager to speak with
Otherwise they won't even acknowledge she is there, for privacy reasons . I know from having family members in
Mental hospitals in the past. @@sharonfike5379
Oh Angela you sound so much better! Thank you Art for being a friend to her.
Art, like the way u are so helpful to Angela when talking to her & telling her it's good to stay in the home when she gets there. Hopefully she listens. 🙏🙏🙏
Angela sounds so clear headed now. I'm so happy for her. Don't give up and stop....keep moving in the right direction!
I wish she had family who could help her!
She seems like she doesn't want to follow their rules or guidelines. Sad to hear.
What is the shots they are giving her? I cant make out what she called it and what is for. She sounds so much better, but I can still hear some loneliness and sadness in her. I wish her case worker wasn't so short with her. Such an easy question Angela asked, wouldn't have takin no time for case worker to answer. My hearing isnt so good these days, thats why its kind of hard to understand what she called the shot and what it was for. Yippy, nice gift for making it to old age 😆
Absolutely adore all you have done and continue to do for Angela. Maybe on the calls read her a few messages each day from here to show her she has so many people wanting her to get well, be safe and happy she is getting help.
She has an amazing connection with you, for me this speaks volumes as to your heart ❤️. She is blessed to have you and those willing to help her have a little more. I do hope she is able to see she can have some freedoms but also a roof over her head, assistance and support. ❤
She really appreciates you art! She knows you care about her. Shes so sweet😊
She sounds more focused on getting out. Hoping Angela can get through 🙏🏻
The workers do sound very rude. I dont like that very much. Sometimes i wonder? Are people in thd right place of making a paycheck??? I Myself believe that in work like this kind of work??? If should be a calling!!¡
Hope she ends up in a group home where she is safe but most importantly is treated with kindness and compassion ❤
Some people are in the wrong profession. Angela’s case manager sounds harsh.
Praying 🙏 You Will Accept The Help You Need.
Angela you sound Great! May our Lord comfort n guide her in the right path... You are strong Angela..
Blessings!
✨❤🙏🏼🌹✨
It’s so great to hear her excitement and talking so clearly. It would be cool if you could string all these conversations into one 😊
❤ love u Angela.
I hope she will stay in group home I am praying for my girl but we all know she may not stay there keeping her in my thoughts and prayers
God bless you Art for being Angela's friend and helping her.
She sounds so different!!!!
Jesus, please take care of Angela thank you Art and Frank for taking care of her and loving her ❤
Art your friendship is giving her hope. She doesn’t feel alone. Thank you for being so kind & caring to her. Thank Frank for me too. God Bless you both!!♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🦋🦋
All the luck in the world Angela ❤❤❤
God bless Angela🙏🏼❤
Angela I wish you the best God bless❤❤❤❤
I also need to say this and I’m not trying to be an 🤬 however when you treat people as prisoners and strip them of their rights that’s when the hospitalizations turn into a punishment and not a helpful tool. This is why people like Angela fight the system. Before I get jumped on I’m not a case manager no but do work in the field. Respite housing for dual diagnosis. I am all for structure these clients need that. As I stated clients not prisoners. Idk if Angela is being held on a 5150 kind of sounds that way however she has rights. That’s why she was able to file a grievance. However as art states who know who received that grievance. It was done because of legality to look like it’s professional. Every person has rights. I wish someone would sit down and educate Angela in the patients bill of rights. She does process things when she’s on track. I hear. Less whining in her voice which is a huge milestone.
Praying for you Angela 🙏 ❤️
Angela sounds so clear minded right now. Too bad it might not last 😢
