Monster. Demon. Nightmare. Even the Devil personified. Many names to call this legend, this icon. One name has always lived the tests of time; Hell's own Kane. Through the highs and lows, the heroic deeds and the horrific atrocities, he deserves our respect. Thank you for the moments and years you've given to us Glen Jacobs, you deserve it.
I feel like this mashup only highlights a common problem WWE had with all remixes of Kane's original burned theme: trying to fill the quiet parts with something when nothing was needed. When we look back at Kane themes in the 90s, the slow, swagger of the bells towing with the organs in the background with only a bit of guitar riffs over it was quintessential to creating an overtone of creepiness and unknown that was never matched by any remixes since. This mashup does exactly what all of the 2010s remastered versions of his theme did and never recreated that slow saunter to the ring that Burned did in 2000. Not saying its a bad mashup, but just reminds me of how WWE never really got it right in later iterations of the theme. If you want an example of what I mean, just look up Kane's return in Feb 2000 and everything about that version of his theme was the most badass Kane ever was.
