Saw them on May 3rd they played all of their songs in D Standard. I love Dave's voice here on this recording though. It sounds evil and dark. I love it
The main thing I love about these retunes is that the bass is much more audible and the riffs are clearer as far as what they're actually playing. Keep up the good work.
For some reason I've always preferred standard tuning for metal. Could just be its because it's what I grew up though. But I think it has more clarity and a better range of sounds.
Thank's a lot for your contribution man, very nice, really I mean it. All the songs I listen from your channel are better than the originals (I don't criticize the originals at all, it is only about evolution, like everything), it is much more pure, the agresivity is cleaner, very nice, thank you !
Well, Peace Sells was in E flat so this doesn't sound too abnormal actually, except for Dave's voice sounding a little strange. And all of DYSTOPIA is in D standard which was a first for them I believe. And is a great album IMHO. 🤘😆
Mustaine's vocals are stronger when attempting to sing in lower registers. His traditional voice sounds like Beavis + Popeye + Ghostbusters villain Samhain. Rust in Peace...Polaris sounds somber and belongs on the soundtrack to Dr. Strangelove.
It’s basically pitching the tone of the guitar up and down by messing with the knobs at the top of the guitar; it can raise or lower the pitch so we get something like this or something higher if so desired
tuning sounds like megadeth live these days
Yea because they don’t change it live because of dystopia because dystopia is in D Standard tuning
@@LogansRankings it’s also to fit with Dave’s vocals more because he can’t hit the high notes anymore
@@HunteR-uc7nv yes that is true as well

Hangar 18 sound sick af. Shoulda been recorded in this tuning lol
Nowadays they it play live in D Standard
Fun fact: in that song, while the guitars are in d tuning, the bass is actually in drop c
@@dioschicken Thought there may have been a give string in this?

Nice! Saw them back on May 7th. This sounds just like them live.
Peace Sells...
But... Who's buying?
Idk, it lacks the clarity of the original tuning which I think hurts it overall because this album is so melodic
This is definitely Megadeth today.
This actually sounds decent.

It almost sounds like 1986 hetfield is doing vocals lol

why did you use the 2004 vocals
Lucretia sounds pretty good in D.
Cool
This is how you write lamb of god songs
Dave has never sounded better

Wasn’t Endgame in Eb?
@@FEAROWNAGE Standard tuning
Peace Sells isn't in E flat, it's a about 1/4 step down or A= ~425. It's the same tuning used by Dimebag in Cowboys From Hell.
@@RafaelCDet Right
@@JudgeDrey Hmm, I hear different things regarding Endgame’s tuning. Might’ve been half and half.
I could just be high but I hear some Chuck Schuldiner sounds in here with the lower tuning
Please do c tuning next
tornado of souls singing just sounds normal :))
This would be actually good listen on headphones if it were less cymbals/trebles

QUE RICO CARAHOOOOO
Dave sounds way better in this
I agree. I never realized how annoying Dave's original vocals are until i heard this. He definitely sounds better with a deeper voice.
Take no prisoners is sick af
Megadeth in -3/4 tuning, nice
whatever tunning is, the solo of tornado of souls is the best of all times.
