Every single song seemed charged with magic. Each lyric seemed written to be personally interpreted by each individual listener. Collectively each riff, beat and solo built the story in our ears and energized our minds. Works of Dio and his bandmates will never be equaled. I believe it will always be part of the soundtrack for our lives. Rest Easy RJD, and thank you to you and the band for enriching our world. But one band I got to see that I was a fan of from the 60's was Status Quo they played for 2 1/2 hrs that for me was a great show, I'm 70 by the way and I've been a rocker my whole life started playin' the drums when I was 10 got in my first band when I was 13 and I was the drummer and lead singer, yehaa that was fun. But since 2013 I've been listening to J-Rock & J-Metal, and if you haven't heard any Japanese bands might I suggest Lovebites, Nemophila and Band-Maid. I like to tell people that Rock&Roll didn't die it just moved to Japan. So if you haven't heard of them enjoy.
