Hi Tre. You post some great videos! Very entertaining and very informative! I grew up in San Antonio from 1966 until 1980 when I joined the Air Force and left. Since then, my entire adult life, I've been yearning to move back! I'm planning on doing just that - finally, next March. Oh, and I have been a rabid Spurs fan since 1973 when I was 11 years old and they first moved to the city. Don't know where I'm going to settle down yet, but looking forward to the adventure! Keep the videos coming! I plan on talking to your company. Victor
San Antonio is just too big, in 2025 census expects SA to become number city most populated in US passing Philadelphia. I’ve been in San Antonio for five years never been a victim of a crime , I wonder if it’s area specific? in Houston crime was is over!!
Crime map shows various parts of the city but I think it comes down to, as long as you don't put yourself in unfavorable circumstances, you'll be ok :)
Born and raised in SA! You failed to mention all the Jalisco, taquerias mom & pop shops, the Old Pearsaw Park that was a historical trash heap into something wow. Plus its famous for several food joints. Mostly everything you showed was money-wise (on the rich side)😢
I like rural luxury too I hate flat no tree having huge new cookie cutter communities that have nothing but transitory rental properties and look like trash in ten years .
@SanAntonioSuburbs - I really wish people would stop repeating the false report that San Antonio had a large population decline between 2019 and 2020, because it's simply not true. Yes, I know the Census Bureau reports that SA's population went from 1.55M in 2019 to 1.43M in 2020, which would be a loss of almost 113K. But if you understand how the census works, you know that's comparing apples to oranges. The census is taken every decade on the zero year (2010, 2020, etc.) In between, the Census Bureau issues population estimates. So that 2019 population was an estimate, while the 2020 population was from the actual census count. They even did estimates of the 2020 population before the census was complete and estimated SA's 2020 population would be 1.57K, an *increase* of about 20K. However, the 2020 census came back over 132K lower than their estimate. That means that either (a) they overestimated the growth during the 2010s, or (b) the 2020 census was an undercount. Most likely, it's a combination of both. In either case, if you lived here, you know instinctively (or at least you should) that 113,000 people did not suddenly up and leave San Antonio in one year. If that had happened, it would have been big news and would have been quite apparent in many ways.
