And that is another example of how the RPM writers knew what they were doing. They were willing to go in a darker direction for the show. But they also knew that darker tone doesn't automatically mean better quality.
Yeah because as cool as that idea is frankly I don’t think it really works as well venjix hates humans so why would he want his final form to be that and what not 😅
@debamlyabanerjee4067 and I just so happen to be working on a horror themed power rangers season with 5 of my friends, and we have 6 episodes done already... It can't be official, though, because of reasons. We adopted the scrapped power rangers hexagon season and made it into our own thing. We couldn't think of any original enemies, though, so we just "borrowed" some from the resident evil games and the first xenoblade chronicles game.
Yeah the fact that millions of not billions of people were killed by Venjix, really speaks to the gravity of how grim the situation was on RPM's Earth.
I think the "Ranger Black" ending was part of Eddie Gazelia's vision, but he was fired half way through production for going over budget and was replaced by Chip Lynn who finished the show
Oh shit that would've been so cool to see dillon as venjix. Oh what if venjix's code affected the morpher and changed the black ranger's suit into something badass
I honestly would think they could have gone that route but then also bring him back like they did with Gem and Gemma in the ending we did get. Also the Episode named “Ranger Black” WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT!
Actually it's not that they changed the ending. That was the idea of Eddie Guzellian, the first EP for RPM. After Guzellian was fired halfway through RPM's production he was replaced by Chip Lynn who decided to go with his own version of the finale.
RPM is my favourite series precisely because it is the darkest, I wouldn't have minded this ending. I think it was taken out because it needed a lot of development. I mean, Dillon is the actual protagonist of RPM and such a double-cross could not have been sudden
Vengix being revealed as the final boss of Beast Morphers really caught me off guard. Who knew that they would continue with that seemingly ominous last scene from RPM where we see Scott's morpher glow with an ominous red light after being tucked away by Dr.K.
Could still be fixed with like a virus removal tool or split into 2 where venjirix and black ranger fight each other like the green ranger fight of wills
After seeing both Power Rangers RPM and Engine Sentai Go-onger and comparing them side by side, I think I definitely prefer RPM compared to Go-onger. I think the darkness of RPM made you want to keep watching the series until the very end to see how everything plays out.
Yeah but venjix literally hates humans. I can’t see his final form being half human it definitely sounds like a cool alternate ending but for the original I’m glad it stayed. Venjix hates humans to the point of wiping them off of the earth so then why become one, doesn’t make sense.
Because of that, Dino charge won the most darkest ending with everyone dying and the rangers deciding to go back in time to save everyone (Even the dinosaurs)
Yeah, Dillion became a fan favorite character and basically the central focus of the series. Scott got one part of the focus, but Dillion carried the rest of the series, I'd argue in the latter half. That kind of ending would have left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Also, Tenaya was set up to be a Purple Ranger...I was kind of mad we didn't get Tenaya as a Purple Ranger.
it would’ve been cool, Tenaya 7 realises she’s human and becomes good. Dr. K makes an 8th morpher and zord for her but that unfortunately didn’t happen what we got was Dillon saving Tenaya 7, kilobyte recapturing her and Venjix making her a robot with no ability to think
Dang i still think the darkest ending or the darkest moment i guess would be lost galaxy power rangers cause(spoiler warning if you wanna watch) Cause that is still the only season of power rangers where we lost a power ranger a ranger that died in the line of ranger duty
My only issue with RPM is I hate how the Silver and Gold rangers are Special Ed 😂, they have such cool costumes, but they're overshadowed by the stupidity of Jim and Gemma
For the longest time I refused to watch RPM because I thought the spandex suits and the zords were to goofy looking, but it’s actually one of the best story plots if not the best out of series franchise, but them not exploring darker plot points is definitely a let down.
You want dark rangers? Watch almost any of the original Sentai series, their version of what we know as mighty morphin…I sided with their version of Rita js
If that is true I’m going to say something controversial; I’m glad they didn’t go for this ending darker does not mean better, I like dark stuff in my show but this wouldn’t have been a darker ending to me this would’ve been a stupid ending
Honestly if the series ended like that they coulda actually made that the best series of all
Nah that sucks
Exactly should of ended like that
Both of these endings are great
@@uvuvwevwevweonyetenyevweug7053Nah
There would be dillon fans that would be pissed about their favourite character being killed off.
And that is another example of how the RPM writers knew what they were doing. They were willing to go in a darker direction for the show. But they also knew that darker tone doesn't automatically mean better quality.
Yeah because as cool as that idea is frankly I don’t think it really works as well venjix hates humans so why would he want his final form to be that and what not 😅
The producers switched writers mid show and changed the ending.
I honestly would’ve loved to see how that would play out
Me too
Me to
I agree as well. RPM had a darker tone anyway. Should've just gone with that ending
Venjix already destroyed most of the human population of RPM earth
And it all happened before the team came together
All because Dr K wanted to go outside...
@@airtiger4577 i Think we need more Dark theme power rangers

RPM is already the darkest Power Rangers season, that wouldn’t change anything and actually make it better
Well personally I would only wanna see that ending to see how Ziggy or Summer would react to Dillon's death
Yeah the fact that millions of not billions of people were killed by Venjix, really speaks to the gravity of how grim the situation was on RPM's Earth.
Some of the Disney era stuff topped the Sentai stuff, this was probably the biggest 1’UP out of them to be honest
Then after that Saban got the rights
@@bhavanijayant526 Then Saban ruined it
@@phoenixELLEXIt’s definitely bad, but a lot of it is good too. Just not as good
I don't know,
Having that thing fall on Venjix felt like i was watching a action movie instead of power rangers. I had chills when it was coming down.
Yeah venjix didn't get destroyed and the ending they went with did play out in beast morphers
As the rpm black ranger, I can confirm.
I think the "Ranger Black" ending was part of Eddie Gazelia's vision, but he was fired half way through production for going over budget and was replaced by Chip Lynn who finished the show
Yeah, and at the time deadlines and suddeness of it all meant chip lynn didn't know and so couldn't implement it
Rpm,jungle fury, ninja storm, and Dino thunder are some of the best power ranger shows
Don't forget mystic force 😊
And SPD
Lost galaxy and in space
It's strange, because I was always under the impression that the Japanese version of this season was one of their sillier seasons overall.
Yeah it's super sentai counterpart was animal+vehicle themed, but rpm only took vehicle tone coupled with post apocalyptic approach, it was great.
Oh shit that would've been so cool to see dillon as venjix. Oh what if venjix's code affected the morpher and changed the black ranger's suit into something badass
It would have been amazing. He could have even been an ally to Lord Drakkon.
Should’ve went with that ending and made Dillion fight for control
Well at least they stick to the ending we see because then beast morphers would have been much different as well
I honestly would think they could have gone that route but then also bring him back like they did with Gem and Gemma in the ending we did get. Also the Episode named “Ranger Black” WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT!
I agree this is the darkest ending
I remember hearing that about halfway through the showrunner was replaced; so that might have affected the ending.
*insert gif of spongebob and patrick riding the tiny rollercoaster*
Actually it's not that they changed the ending. That was the idea of Eddie Guzellian, the first EP for RPM. After Guzellian was fired halfway through RPM's production he was replaced by Chip Lynn who decided to go with his own version of the finale.
I still remember like yesterday
Average plot twist in indian daily soaps 😢
If they did that ending this show would’ve been the best series ever
That actually sounds like it would’ve been awesome.
that would have been the toughest saddest ending to power rangers
TOTALLY THE "DARKEST ENDING IN POWER RANGERS HISTORY". Guessing Kendrix dying doesn't mean anything 😂😂
That would've been sick actually
Do you know super Sentai
Of course, I also make long form videos on it, trying to cover all boonboomger theories.✨
RPM is almost a carbon copy of a show from the 80s called Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future.
Dillan was literally the best part of the show, they had to change it.
Wow I heard they wanted to go all out for “this “ last season, but having this ending would had made show so much better
rpm is underrated. The storyline was damn good❣️
The writing strike really hurt this one
RPM is my favourite series precisely because it is the darkest, I wouldn't have minded this ending.

Ranger black would have been awesome
sentai always lets darker things go, in abaranger mikoto literally bleeds out everywhere then explodes.
...They did realize this was a *KIDS* show right???
Could still be fixed with like a virus removal tool or split into 2 where venjirix and black ranger fight each other like the green ranger fight of wills
Well since it's a kids show they have to change it 😂
This plot twist would have been bigger than Attack on Titan's Armoured and colossal titan plot twist.
One the best seasons, for sure
That's super dark glade they didn't go with that ending
That would have been so damn cool...
Missed opportunity...
Very few of the seasons were dark like RPM
That ending would’ve started a whole cliche in film/tV. Genuinely generational
RPM is one of the best seasons period
Yeah r.p.m was dark I watch every Power rangers series as a kid up to teens
Power rangers RPM are basically terminator+mad max for kids
That would be awesome.
RPM storywise was dark & gritty that it was refreshing BUT too bad it didn't match the goofy zord theme😅
You called that a dark ending space. Was darker than that
It's not that dark, but possibly is for a child
After seeing both Power Rangers RPM and Engine Sentai Go-onger and comparing them side by side, I think I definitely prefer RPM compared to Go-onger. I think the darkness of RPM made you want to keep watching the series until the very end to see how everything plays out.
I didn't think this was ever confirmed
You know I might have liked it a bit more even though this is probably my favorite of all the Power ranger shows
….sure darkest ending…how about that one episode in Power Rangers lost Galaxy where they actually killed a Power Ranger?
Can't imagine what would it be if Go-Onger was that dark
Honestly power rangers has always felt like a show for young Adults I’m glad Dino fury and Cosmic Fury went that route
If that would have played out, Than Beast Morphers would’ve not Vingyx returning.
This would’ve been interesting
I always wondered why couldn't they use a EMP to stop Venjix unless they tried and it didn't work and I'm just forgetting
Yeah but venjix literally hates humans. I can’t see his final form being half human it definitely sounds like a cool alternate ending but for the original I’m glad it stayed. Venjix hates humans to the point of wiping them off of the earth so then why become one, doesn’t make sense.
I liked wild force but gaoranger and wild force is my favourite series.

Why does a good script always get cancelled? FUCK!
I feel like it was another one but I can’t think of a better one

Thank Judd Lynn for that
Yep
dude that’s such a badass ending. Why didn’t they go with that
Power rangers: it’s to dark
Super sentai :💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Super Sentai don't have a dark topic. It a kid shows

More like the most ridiculous ending if you ask me.
They changed it because the writer of this *rumored* ending got fired
I was wondering why the episode line up seemed off
Yep it would be
Dillion would’ve died!
Tenaya was so hot tho
That’ll be cool tho. Power rangers always getting a happy ending is too predictable. Like Dillion, bring some danger bro😅
That probably would have been a way better ending. I don’t even remember the end of that this show got because honestly it wasn’t good.

This would honestly leave a bad taste in my mouth

In my opinion RPM was not for children.
not exactly it didn’t end the way it was meant to because they got rid of the original writing team half way through the season
If that is true I’m going to say something controversial;
I’m glad they didn’t go for this ending darker does not mean better, I like dark stuff in my show but this wouldn’t have been a darker ending to me this would’ve been a stupid ending
Super Megaforce was bad but it had a great ending with the Multiverse thing
It's very good and all but if dillon was actually venjix why would venjix kill his own soldiers and generals when he made them anyway
I swore I’ve seen that episode
👀😮
I prefer the ending we have
