I would really suggest you to read the Truly Devious series... though unlike other series it cannot be read as a standalone and it's quite slow, but it's really worth it. And idk why but out of all the mysteries I have read, this one seemed quite realistic where you think ohh okay, this could actually happen irl...😅😅
depends on how mature you are honestly...many of these books dont have a very dark and disturbing stories...so to check th level of grusomeness...check the trigger warnings and the good reads reviews to give u a better idea of the book
