Girlllll you’ve started with THE SILENT PATIENT??!!! That book’s set the bar so high for me! I bet you had a hard time finding another book that would blow your mind like The Silent Patient did
@@RaziyaAnsari-c4x trust me Verity was the book I found right after The Silent Patient and boy I wasn’t prepared for the twist. Currently I’m reading “House across the street” hoping for some crazy twist
Larry you DO NOT have any idea how perfect of a time you have uploaded this, because I'm travelling tom and was planning on reading thrillers on my flight AND BAM, you released a thriller book recs video. You're literally god send, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Now I can have a fun time reading on my flight 🥰
i wanted to discover new booktubers and just searched for thriller book rec videos and within the first three seconds i knew i would love this video. Subscribed to you to keep the good energy on my recommended vids :) love you
Larry you should make a video telling us what some of your top favourite books of all time are across all genres! I would love to know all your favourite books
I loved no exit!! A five star read for me, it is just continously hitting you with things you weren't expecting to happen so if you find slow thrillers boring I would really recommend it (instead of one huge plot twitst it feels like a lot of smaller ones that leave you with your mouth hanging anyways) Loved the Supernatural reference btw, that's literally me everytime I see the Winchester last name 😂
I was sooo sooo shocked to not see Joel Dicker in your top thrillers. Girl I read his 2022 release The enigma of room 622 and it changed my life!! Then I started diving into his other books and all of them became my favourite. I definitely recommend The Harry Quebert Affair as well, but The enigma of room 622 has my heart.
Im a huge fan of karin slaughters writing she does suspenseful, mysterious twist and turns kind of vibes i absolutely love her her books are alot and definitely has trigger warnings so just be aware of that but definitely recommended 🥰
The fact that I literally thought when will we get a thrillers rec video after watching the sports romance video. Also LOVE the fact that even my first thriller experience was The Silence Patient. Also the author of silent patient is British Cypriot
LARRY, I read my first thriller because of you, it was the housemaid, I loved it and I'm looking for more thriller recommendations so thank you so much ❤❤❤
BEST thriller I've read so far is Misery by Stephen King. Author wrecks his car and wakes up with both legs shattered inside "his biggest fan's" house. She doesn't let him leave. Its SO good!!!
Oml thank you Larry these are the endorphins I need! My dog is going through some medical problems and I’ve been on the verge of crying all day so…just thank you ❤
Ahh the good old Dean Winchester quote😂 Never gets old! Girl you are right about Verity. It freaked me too and took some time to get over after finishing the book. You should definitely read 'The women in the window' by A.J.Finn. It was my first thriller and loved it!
Freida McFadden’s Never Lie & The Locked Door is a fav. Couldn’t get thru Rock, Paper, Scissor, maybe one day I’ll go back. I might read some you mentioned!
I love Freida’s books. I read The Teacher and I was so shook. I am terrible at figuring out who did it in thriller books so all of her books, I’m gasping. By the end I have to take a minute to regroup 😂
Here’s a couple of thriller rec’s for you…Those Empty Eyes by Charlie Donlea (couldn’t put it down), Still Missing (read in one sitting) by Chevy Stevens, and (a bit more graphic) is The Drowned Girls by Loreth Anne White...this is a series, but she writes different cases for each book. Karin Slaughter has some awesome thrillers too (but also on the bit more graphic). Love your videos!!!📚📚🔥🔥🎇
Hi! Was looking for thriller recommendations, and your video popped up.... Love your energy and excitement. it's addictive and now I'm excited to try all these book recommendations...💃💃💃
I never subscribed this fasttt to a booktuber 😍 first vid of yours and absolutely love your energy 👏👏 going to binge watch your channel byee ❤️❤️ love your recs and added all to my endless tbr 😭😭
I read None Shall Sleep by Ellie Marney in March of this year, and it gave me so many chills that I'll think about it every now and then, too! And I also read The Only One Left by Riley Sager loved it! Highly recommend both of these to add to your thriller list!
Woah read like 7 books in this list, and AGGGTM trilogy too ❤️ i would recommend Lisa Jewell books. Watching you and Then She was gone were so eerie and dark.
Larry, I think you would like the London seance society. It a mystery with ghosts and duo pov. I just finished it on Thursday. I would have finished it last Sunday but t my fiancé made me put it down to sleep lol
Adding a bunch of these to my TBR! I would recommend A Maiden's Grave, by Jeffery Deaver. It's about a bus full of deaf students and their teachers who are taken hostage by some escaped convicts. Dual perspective, oldie but a goodie.
Love your video! The edition you were mad about, of No Exit, is actually a 'mass market paperback'. It is the cheapest paperback version of any printed book, which gets printed to reach a wider audience. While the normal paperbacks are distributed through Amazon, Oxford, Waterstones, Barnes & Noble or other premium bookstores or bookstore chains, the mass market paperbacks are distributed through retail stores, newsstands, supermarkets or magazine distributors. They are generally printed from only a few genres which have a mass appeal (often just the bestsellers). And, can you please make a recco list of romantic thrillers separately? Your lists are the ones which I trust blindly.
THANK YOU for this video...I LOVE thriller/mystery books and this made my heart sooooooooooooooooooooo happy. Verity...LOVE LOVE LOVE.... The Good Girl's Guide to Murder Series.....LOVE x100 (especially book 3) My favourite thrillers/mystery books that I can recommend to you are: The Family Next Door - Sally Hepworth Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone - Benjamin Stevenson The Guest List - Lucy Foley The Holiday - T.M. Logan The Maid - Nita Prose The Mystery Guest - Nita Prose The Paris Apartment - Lucy Foley Five Survive - Holly Jackson The Reappearance of Rachel Price - Holly Jackson These are the ones I have read but I have a heap more on my TBR 😊
Larry!!! you should really watch No Exit, it’s actually pretty accurate to the book. There are a few things that are a little different but for the most part pretty close
You cannot imagine how thrilled (pun intended) I was to find out that all my favorite thrillers books are also yours!🎉I haven’t read no exit(is on my tbr) and the naturals series, I would include Local woman missing by Mary Kubica and The night she disappeared by Lisa Jewell thinking of both still!I used to watch a tv show or a movie while I take my breakfast, now I just watch your videos, much better!😊❤
No baby I have always read thrillers and Frieda McFadden is my favorite and I love her actually the House maids series!! By the way the third one is already out but I haven't read it yet....also I Love never lie too!!!! I have never read a Frieda McFadden book that I didn't like. Yes I love all the ones u named by her!! She is just GOOD!!! I haven't read the teacher but now I'm excited for it😂I swear u are literally naming all the thrillers that I have recently finished.... ROCK PAPER SCISSORS IS ALSO A BANGER !! OKAY SO NOW I GOT A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS FROM U SENSE IT SEEMS WE LITERALLY ARE THE SAME WHEN IT COMES TO THRILLERS!! Girl every time u raise up another book I'm like so blown away by how similar or taste is!!
Thank you Larry!! Im going to try the inmate. I would recommend My lovely wife by Samantha Downing. It's her debut novel and I was so impressed by her writing for it being her first! It gripped me immediately and kept me interested all the way through! I never saw the twist coming even when I saw the one coming in the silent patient. It basically follows the POV of a man who abducts women, then kills them with his wife. It's my favourite thriller book of all time!
There's lots on there that I have read but got quite a few new recs! thank you. My favorite thriller was Look Closer by David Elllis. Loved it and need to get a copy to reread.
my favorite thriller is Never Lie by Freida McFadden, but I also loved: The Last Word by Taylor Adam’s, it had my head spinning. I still think about it to this day. Heart Sick by Chelsea Cain, it’s also really good…it’s a romance 🙃 we’ll call it that haha.
