Aside from Metal, Squeak Squad had some REALLY cool abilities, I'd personally like Bubble to return, maybe you can combine it with stuff, Bubble Sword perhaps?
John Ford I guess that does make sense, but there is a possibility for them to improve it in some way, I don't know how they can, but hey, if they can make sleep a usable ability in battle royal, its not impossible for them to try to improve it
Its kinda rendered obsolete in any game where you can play as the Helpers(Such as superstar ultra/star allies for example) as Helpers ARE playable enemies so ghost is just kinda redundant that point.
The ghost ability was fun, but kind of useless. Since you couldn't go down ladders (and the enemies are so weak), you were limited to just messing around one screen at a time. Still fun, though.

Honestly, this game was great. While it sadly didn't have an open world (which I still want to return), in all other aspects it was like the Amazing Mirror sequel I've always wanted. The soundtrack is amazing and as Kirby-esque as ever, the new copy abilities are fun. The treasure chests are fun to find and 100% completion is simple but enjoyable. Plus the game had the spray paints, which should be a collectible in every Kirby game, I loved being able to choose my Kirby color
Fun Fact: the "thing" that gives you this ability is called Tedhaun (an anagram of "haunted") , it replaces all the mini bosses in the game (the first Tedhaun can be found at the 3rd stage of Prism Plains, and can only be unlocked by completing the ghost medal).
you can unlock this hability in another way. When you eat 2 sleepy enemies at the same time, then wait until the end and dont choose any hability, then you turn a ghost! But i dont know if it works just with the sleepy enemies or every time you eat 2 enemies.
Funny enough imo, the ghost ability is kinda similar to Cappy in Super Mario Odyssey. And its kinda funny possessing enemies that don't have abilites (such as Scarfys or Waddle Dees), hope that the ghost ability returns in new Kirby game.

er. not the same developers. same project leader in Sakurai and maybe some Hal people joined his team, but Sora Ltd. developed Brawl and Smash 4, not Hal Laboratory, but I think Hal supervised development for at least Brawl.
Ghost NEEDS to return in the future Kirby games (at least once), and give it the moveset from Kirby Fighters Deluxe (there it was just a cameo, but with a Full-Moveset) (maybe) along with it’s old Possesion attack and make it being able to pass trough ladders like UFO (in Kirby Planet Robobot) and make more quick just like UFO.

This was such a wasted ability, you have to work hard to unlock it, and get a cool idea on paper, but just broken one in execution, as its impossible to beat most of the levels with it, and a tad hard to come by naturally. Why would they make an ability that cant go down ladders or platforms! he is a ghost! why can't he just phase through them!
The other thing I hated was that it replaced some mini-boss battles, particularly the two rarer ones in Buboo and Boxy. After Tedhaun is unlocked, you can only find Boxy once.
Terrance Turner it doesn't really matter if you just want the abilities, you can get an infinite amount of abilities including boss-exclusive ones in the ability room.
It's not technically op, wheel and tornado speaking but it is underrated, i mean it's pretty much fun use since it's obtained late in the game. But it is nowhere near hammer, tornado or wheel's strength.
if you where able to climb ladders AND go through doors this would have been the best ability *hopes it could be done in star allies in the next update (with tedhuan)

If only Ghost came back slightly reworked. Guess it does with helpers, but what about enemies that aren't? The ones with moves not present in the helper or ability?
I remember spending hours on end with 6 Ghost abilities on hand just messing around in levels.

Squeak squad is my fav Kirby game of all time like 50% of my play time is doing boss rushes and messing with the ghost ability it was pretty fun.
