Reiji also has a lot of family issues too. His dad up and left when he was super young, and he was very confused and his mom just said "I'm both now" and made it even worse. She also made the family motto "nobody eats unless you help out" and little baby Reiji had to work in the family shop and even learn to cook and fend for himself bc his mom was too busy. He also has an older sister. Ai also kinda sings winter blossom as his way of saying goodbye bc he breaks his connection with Aine drastically (literally destroying computers) and he is basically dying..or so it seems. Aine also wakes up and gives Reiji a letter at the end of his route in After secret, and I HATE THAT ENDING WITH A FIERY PASSION FOR HOW DIRTY THEY FINISHED THEIR STORY
Hi, satsuki cannoisseur and lover here who played through natsuki's route repeat several times! From what i remember, the anime stayed somewhat faithful to his reason for being created, but they just.... Explained it in ten seconds and that's it, but ofc it's more complex in repeat's route, because it is highlighted by satsuki that natsuki was incredibly attached to his teacher, which made the batrayal even worse! And another thing to point out is that satsuki at first is incredibly hostile to haruka in repeat because she reminds him of this teacher in terms of personnality, so he's scared she might do the same thing and well, satsuki's entire raison d'etre is protecting natsuki yada yada so YEAH. They just condensed it a lot more in a anime but otherwise it's rather similar in the game in terms of story
Oh yeah! That’s why it ticked me off so much cause they changed it just a little bit and it made me audibly go “why? Why wouldn’t they just add the rest?” Thank you✨
@@eronmuwu imo satsuki was done rather dirty in the anime for lots of reasons ahaahah (but that's still better than not appearing at all i guess), but well, let's just say there wasn't enough screentime for the anime to develop him any further, and since he's pretty tied by natsuki's and haruka's budding romance... I could still go on and on but there you have it! Great video btw, from what I know most of your observations were pretty spot on :D
Yes I watched an opening for one of the games and I saw this character that looked like Syo but was voiced by Kaji Yuki than I went to the wiki and it said that he wanted to become a doctor probably because of Syos heart problem but because Syo didn't have a heart problem in the anime they cut the brother to.
I really enjoyed the anime, but the games were so much fun! There is so much incredible stuff people miss out on from not playing the games! I still can't believe with how popular Utapri is that the games never got an English localization.

i love telling anime only watchers the stuff that happened in the games from reiji and ai to tokiya/syo/ranmaru/natsuki's pasts and then dropping it off with the time shining summoned satan which i am very sad was not included in the anime or shining live
May seem like a dumb question, but how could you play all these games, even though they were completely in Japanese? I really, REALLY want to play those but I am more able to understand Japanese by hearing than reading.
AND ALSO ik ryuya is kinda a side character but the fact the Hyuga family has 4 siblings and Yamato was the only one mentioned??h???we need more sources for Touma and Makoto,,,
I only started watching the anime earlier this year and I'm struggling, STRUGGLING to find any game clips that involve the story, not just the rhythm gameplay :( The little crumbs of lore I picked up from the wiki aren't enough!
utapri is the main reason why and how i REALLY got into anime and all that jazz, but i never finished the anime. and only a few years later did i find out that there is a game. AND THAT SO MANY THINGS WAS CHANGED AND LEFT OUT OF THE ANIME that again i never finished. soooo.... if you want to make a part 2 👀
