I asked in some forums and seems like some guys leave 2 or 3 months a year and then come back to drive. I hear Melton let’s you save up some home time and take a couple of weeks at a time, is this true ? I have a small place and family in Thailand, I’ll hook you up with how to see Southeast Asia on like $25 to $50 a day, it’s awesome !
I may have to take you up on that offer some day haha. And yeah your hometime doesn’t expire so you can save it up and use as much as you want at a time
@@KING_REESE hmm interesting, maybe they’ve changed their hiring policy recently. Or idk if you have anything on your legal record, but that could be a factor too. I applied at another company before melton and got denied cause of a speeding ticket I had last year.
@@KING_REESE I can say it seems like melton went on a hiring spree around the time I joined. So maybe now they’ve had to slow it down. My orientation class was huge and so was the one after mine, so my guess is that they’re getting close to max capacity. Either that or too many new drivers were getting tickets or into accidents
@@isaiahgreen2595 we talked very briefly, but I was just curious about the pay difference. They were new drivers like me and they were making about the same as I do at Melton

How many miles a week you getting there?
I would say it probably averages out to around 2.5k a week. Sometimes a lot more sometimes less, but usually it’s somewhere around there
