I worked alone for many years. I was a freelancer, I had my own business just building websites, full-service, one-person web-shop. It's really great now to have a group of people that I can collaborate with, and you know, I learn something new every day. I'm really impressed with the culture that encourages empowerment, passion, commitment, and the results of which you can see pretty evidently with the way the company has been growing over the years.
I like the people - I mean it's really a huge component of why I'm there and just seeing everyone really come together when we're really busy or when we have a lot to do and just making sure that we get through that day and do a great job really.
WEX, you know, it's just the environment, the culture, I think it's all pretty awesome, you know, just people I work with are great you know. When I started here, I just felt really welcomed and it's really, you know, competitive I guess, the nature of the business and I think it that's one of aspects I thrive in, I think, as far as sales go. My favorite part of the job is developing people - it's what I'm passionate about, and what really drove me to take this position. So when I found out about it, it was just like a calling and I was so excited about it I couldn't sleep that night.
