JMJ+ I can't imagine a life without GOD'S Holy Presence or without Priests to offer the Sacraments instituted by JESUS CHRIST, or to council and support us throughout life's joys and difficulties. Thank you, Father M.

As always, these series don't disappoint. Fr. McFarland has a gift for practical, commonsense advice. The District is in good hands with him as Vocations Director.
Shoutout to Andrew too. He has a talent for asking the Priests questions the audience is curious about. Thank you Angelus Press!

@@pattiday431 No, not at all. In fact, Fr McFarland was raised in the Novus Ordo and discovered the Society in college.

Suggestion for a mini series where we can "follow" a priest or religious to get a peek inside their day to day. It wouldn't have to be long in duration, but I know my son really enjoyed the video with Father Portugal on his trips to Sitka. Just an idea so that our young people, especially boys, could get a sense of what a priest or religious does on a weekly basis.
Also, as a parent I have to say that I really enjoyed listening to this video. Helpful to have Father McFarland's balanced perspective. Thank you and God bless!

The "eye opener"for me was when Fr. discussed the information regarding requirements and a certain level of intelligence needed. I now understand how it is fair to expect this certain intelligence when you consider that God and the Church is giving the man a calling to a priestly vocation, so he would have these attributes if he were truly a candidate for the priesthood.

Many thanks for this presentation I am grateful and it was thought provoking and informative. I think the deposit of faith would be passed on more excellently and efficiently by priests more actively involved with catechesis for children in Catholic schools as the laity dont have that level of commitment or belief that true and faithful priests have. Children would connect the seriousness and importance of the gift of the Catholic faith if it was being directly taught and exampled to them in their needed formation for sacraments. i know its a luxury to provide this but its clear that the faith, love and sufficient teaching is not being given or passed on as we can see. The teaching orders of nuns have passed and not available to carry out this needed assistance and many families are negligent because they are not formed sufficiently in their own faith to pass it on in all its fullness and the standard watered down stuff in school is a contributer to so many losing or never knowing the true faith.

I noticed the veneer on Father’s bookshelf is starting to come undone. That can be fixed with some wood glue. Put some glue on the wood, clamp it together, and allow the glue to dry.

I know that the N. O. Church has been welcoming them for more than half a century, but the SSPX should filter out men who live the "Alternative Lifestyle" even more thoroughly than they have in the past.

There was a document published in 1961, that was sent to all seminaries: no sodomite should be ordained, period. Also excluded were men found to be enslaved by masturbation or had been found to have a NORMAL sexual relationship with a woman. If you can't control your base desires, you are not worthy and such men usually go on to make bad husbands and fathers if heterosexual. Sodomites were depicted by Dante as inhabiting the LOWEST circle of hell.

7:40 I think it's important to point out the permanent mark on the soul of the priest. It's quite a gift for the priest who is saved.
That being said, there are damned priests in the lowest parts of hell and there are martyred married men in the highest places in heaven.

There is no SSPX church near me. How can I follow a Latin mass when I don't know Latin. I am used to the English mass.

    • @harryfaber
      @harryfaber ปีที่แล้ว +1

See if you can find an old Missel, it will have the English and Latin side by side. I 'did' latin for a year at school, way back in the last century, which has helped me enormously to follow the Mass, which is doubly complicate for me, as I go to a Church in France, so for me, even the vernacular bits are in a foriegn language.
A well done NO Mass is better than a badly done TLM, and I feel that to take part, it is very important to understand the language. Listening to most priests praying in Latin certainly helps me to understand why the protestant reformation took place. Most of them rush through it without proper emphasis, almost as if they think no one understands it, so it is better to get it over and done with.

Question! Mt ♥️ is with the Latin Mass that i have on Sunday only in my area. I am a widow, 75, healthy and when i attend daily mass and lay altar servers were t-shirts, shorts and flip flops to be actual altar servers, lectors & Eucharistic Ministers (i quiet that yrs ago because i could not touch the Eucharistic again or serve it! It breaks my heart that 99% receive in the hand and etc etc etc. last Sunday i met a lady after Latin mass that drives over an hr, which some travel 2 w/kids for Latin Mass….. this lady cant handle Our Lord being stepped on & carried away on so many shoes…. So she goes to Adoration daily snd latin mass on Sunday. I ache for Our Lord being so disrespected in So Many Ways….. I’m now considering doing the same ! Any suggestions?!?!🕊🕊🕊

Go to the Latin Mass if it is possible! Relocate (if it is an option) so you dont have to drive so far

Your expose your imbecility as a typical, illiterate Novus Ordite who likely cannot even quote ONE dogma. The late Frs. Malachi Martin, Nicholas Gruner and Gregory Hesse all PROVED that Lefebvre was not in schism and never was. Lefebvre committed an act of juridical disobedience in response to a REAL crisis of validly ordained traditional priests. Since all of these men were actual priests, brilliant theologians and Hesse was also a canon lawyer, they know considerably more than you do. You prefer the Novus Ordo Protestant supper because it demands nothing of you. Bergolio is surrounded by sodomite prelates and perhaps that floats your boat. All of the history of the errors of Vatican II, the heresies, the Modernist infiltration are available to those who honestly search. You would have to read books and listen to authentic authorities, but you prefer your WILLFUL blindness.
