    Thank YOU! I used to be an ace pilot with the classic flight model but with the realistic model, it's been such a pain in the ass. This just changed the game for me. Well done M8!

    Thank you for the tutorial on landing without autopilot. Greatly appreciate your time in creating the videos. Well done, keep up the hard work.

    Thank you for this great tutorial!!! I think the thing that helped me the most, was you recommendation (at least for beginners) to not be afraid to enable the Assisted Tail Rotor, and Assisted Cyclic. I had those turned off, but when I turned them on, I was able to achieve the type of control you demonstrated here. Also, somehow my sensitivity settings had those curves build into them, so I put them all to linear, and that helped with the feeling of control as well. Thanks again!!!!

      Thats great - so helpful to hear. I am questioning what my next vid should be on....Pleased that these older vids are still having impact. Take care.

      @@theflyingdoctor yeah, they absolutely are!! I'll stay tuned for your next video(s), but I just discovered your 145 playlist here, and I can see I have a LOT to to view, and supplement what I know after having spent time so far in the 145. Always discovering new things, which is what makes it such a great aircraft. Keep up the great content! 😎👍

    BTW, I've been subbed for a few months now. Thanks for the videos!

    Appreciate the tips. Just about to start printing a collective and cyclic. I’m curious why you don’t use the pedals? Im an ex helicopter pilot and I can’t imagine flying without them.

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's more about convenience for testing - I have to make space and secure down the pedals under what is a working desk as well. I do use pedals on longer flights and vr, when I am looking to get more realism. But sometimes when you want to test something quickly - using the twist for pedals is.less hassle. Take care.

    Nice video, I know what you mean but ‘straight curve’ 😮 is that a straight line ?

    Thank you for your hints. Will try it out. Quick question: do you know if the H145 is as stable as that in real life?

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No idea Tilman. I've never piloited in real life - aka my intro - but if anyone's offering(?!) Thanks for supporting the channel. Take care. L

    Thanks for these videos. Do you separate the collective and throttle controls? I get horrible shaking when I reduce the cyclic to land.

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. I don't with this model. In real life the throttle and collective are linked so that when you want more height the throttle increases naturally. I think there will be an override in the H145 but I have never.needed it. Other helis have separate inputs - (look at the helis thay come with the sim). There you can have separate throttle and collective. Take care.

    Great tutorial, very helpful. Watching you flying I have to ask does your joystick not have springs? You rolled to the right and said it just stays there but my joystick springs back to centre and therefore so does the heli. Or did you hold the cyclic in that roll?

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it does. The Hotas comes with changeable springs but for me there is still enough give for 1 to 2mm movement. Larger movements will return to centre but apart from if you use twist on the stick for yoke, you are not conscious of it.

      Hi again, I have followed every part of your set-up and it works 100%. Thank you, yet again you have helped me to get more enjoyment out of the H145 ( the only aircraft I fly and the only reason I bought MSFS2020)
