As a fellow immigrant to Korea who's now living in Vietnam, I have to agree with these judgments, especially how Lotteria chefs took a quick look at a burger and tried to recreate it off sight alone. The only thing I'd add is that the mozzarella sticks at Lotteria are the best I've had from any restaurant over here.

Sonny - I'd love to see you do a show on the Dumags' People of Estonia. They are known for their numerous ways of preparing a famous staple ingredient - the lowly cucumber. They have over 20 varieties of cucumber available to them and each variety has its own special way of being prepared. From Cucumber Sausage to 'Epike' ( a savory cucumber stew), it can all be enjoyed with their favorite beverage - Cucumber Beer.

Who would put hotdogs on spaghetti? 😂
Well...almost everyone in the Philippines does.🤭
We were brought up having hotdogs as one of the important ingredients in spaghetti 🤭 specially for kids party.
Thinking of it now, maybe one of the reasons why we put hotdogs on it is because generally speaking, Filipinos sees spaghetti as kids' food that's why it was intentionally sweeter than other country's spaghetti and threw in some hotdogs on it which kids loves so that kids would just shut up and eat their food 😅

LOTTE is a Korean/Japanese confectionary brand I say Korean/Japanese because of a very complicated story. Let me explain..
A Korean born in occupied Korea (Korea was a part of Japan for 35 years) moved to Tokyo at an early age, he already spoke Japanese because he was born inside the borders of the Japan of that time, he graduated in Tokyo and he took on a Japanese name and wife. He created LOTTE confectionery in Japan and it became widely popular, years later the South Korean government threatened this Japanese citizen of Korean decent to band him from ever opening shops or visiting South Korea unless he moved his headquarters to Seoul instead of Tokyo. This was after the war, so the hatred is understandable, but unfair. Ever since LOTTE has been seen as proud South Korean Brand.
Lotteria is under the brand of LOTTE, but it is under the Japanese part, Lotteria fast food chain is fully Japanese, more importantly made for the Japanese pallet, they never made the burgers to be burgers of the west, they made them to match the Japanese taste..
