    Very helpful. Thanks! If readers here see the "HDMI Info disp" menu in gray, the fix is to go to the yellow "wrench" menu number 4 and set HDMI resolution to Auto. Once that's set, go back to the shooting menu number 4 and you will be able to set the HDMI Info displace to get clean HDMI.

      Lol, I originally found this on a TH-cam video of a guy from south east Asia... I had to guess what he was doing and then I made this video. You should also try to using the USB-C cable with Canon’s Web Cam utility.

      I was using the RP when I made this video, it still works the same on my M6mkii. Make sure you are in video mode. Also, try using the usb port, this may also give you clean HDMI using the canon stream software.

    1:01 Omg, thank you. I got super frustrated and had my rp in the manual mode, but it actually needs to be in "movie auto exposure mode". Thank god, i hate thia stupid canon menu.
    Edit: I swear, I didn't had the option shown in the video to activate clean hdmi while being in manual exposure mode. I don't know why that's the case, but it appears that it needs to be activated in the auto exposure mode first, to be usable in other modes, wich is not user friendly at all. But anyways, hope that I'm the only one who had this stupid problem or that anyone else know found the solution too.

    • @pfmusic1636
      @pfmusic1636  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you say lag, do you mean the audio and video aren’t synced? There should be an adjustment in OBS, if you go into the advanced audio settings. 50 or 100 ms would be noticeable enough. Test it to figure out how much. Once you figure it out you should be good to go.

    Just hate the fact canon HAD to hide menus for different modes. My 700d at least has a SWITCH for camera/movie which makes it easier to consider it to have different settings.. The RP has the movie mode integrated in the gear: literally NO ONE BUT CANON would think that menu is there. Plus if you want clean HDMI out in picture mode... You JUST CAN'T HAVE IT!
