I love Grace’s call-out of Rita’s daddy issues, I was cackling 😂. Even if she didn’t have the info before, I think Grace figured it out when she had to be an audience to Rita and Zedd’s duel last issue, and Rita flat-out admits about wanting Zedd’s approval in the past, and Grace prolly was thinking “the universe is gonna die cos this woman hasn’t gotten over her daddy issues for over 10,000 years!” Grace also made me think about Rita calling Zedd ‘daddy’ in the potential future, so thanks Grace, truly 😬
Did they really copy off the story line from Drakkon of when he was free from Rita spell she actually still stayed with her and remained evil did they actually do the same storyline on Matt as well destroying the sword of darkness and then Matt maintaining with Rita still being Evil seriously this ruins everything 😡
I love this issue but did they reconned Dark Specter coming back on that planet where the Phantom Ranger is talking to Zordon telling him that they ressurected Dark Specter? I mean this issue kind of contradicts that doesn't it?
I honestly don't know. Because Edge of Darkness (the with phantom ranger talking to zordon) was written by Frank Gogo and he was going to do Power Rangers Universe. Then he got twitter cancelled. So with might have been semi retconned or set up differently due to change of writers.
My interperatation of that with the current context of the story is that Dark Specter had been revived in Edge of Darkness but still remained without a physical form to enter reality, just existing as a form of evil energy influencing individuals in attempts to be brought into the world.

What I hated about Dark Spector is as powerful as he was he got killed so easily by a laser sure it was designed to destroy something his size but still I excepted epic battle scene with him and heck Astononema was taking his own power for the Psycho Rangers power source and they were strong but whatever I guess some ideas aren't perfect. But wow Kimberly's attitude is really getting on my nerves she's even fusing with Tommy makes me happy he married Kat now and notice Grace's face when she was talking to Rita damn woman giving her the burn big time
Matt won't kill Grace. Instead, he hides her from Rita. It is questionable if the breaking of the evil sword truly done the trick or if the spell went deeper. It is true Matt has issues of being left out which is how Rita broke him. We also have to remember Grace isn't the only guilty party of the Green Ranger program since Billy has his fair share of stealing the green coin initially, then helping to energize it again, and I think also helped with the selection of Matt. We do know Billy was huge in Matt's training as a ranger.
I think them destroying the sword didn't work because Matt is not possessed by Rita but instead Dark Specter, which in the cover art that was hinted at, so it might take destroying Dark Specter to turn him back, so he might kill her :(
Given how Grace had the Mechazord that was able to combine with Tommy's White Tiger in issue 31 of Go Go, I'd not be surprised if the new "Promethean Serpentera" was the ability to as well. I am hoping down the line for a new Ultra Zord configuration of the Thunderzords, Dragonzord, White Tigerzord and this new Serpentera as we are continually denied Tor's presence.
Why not let zed and Rita kill each other ? And if one them survives take out the winner ? Saves them a lot of trouble. When your powerful enemies want to destroy each other you don't intervene unless you have to.
I also think because the Rangers will need Zedd's help he knows a lot about Dark Specter, and he is right now the lesser of two evils. I hope him and Rita do end up together after this though. Maybe Dark Specter somehow has corrupted her when he gave her new powers to be even more evil than she was, so maybe she is not acting out on her own free will.

They are able to go through any time and dimension just like they were able to go to the Coinless universe. This will kind of be like Shattered Grid and deal with time and the multiverse.
