I just don’t think Vogel is respected enough by KD to get him to buy into it. The Suns offense was very predictable with KD playing heavy iso and teams were blitz and trap him that would lead to sloppy turnovers that usually lead to easy baskets going the other way. This team has talented players but they were too predictable on offense. KD will have to alter his game for the Suns to have any success.

And since Suns don’t have their picks, there is no other option if you don’t want to run it back only not to win the title again - but next year KD’s and Booker’s value will have gone down. So do the trades now to ensure you get a lot of picks
Booker is only 27 and the Suns still have a lot of time to put the pieces around him to win. Look at Dirk for example. Dirk went to the Finals in 06 and lost and then had multiple first round exits before he finally won a title 5 years later. Booker is still very young and has at least 5 more seasons in him to play elite basketball. You can’t give up on him yet. Suns will be able to retool quickly and keep the team competitive. Dallas stuck with Dirk even through multiple seasons of disappointments in the postseason after their finals loss in 06 and it paid off for them. Suns need to keep the same mindset. Booker is the franchise’s best player outside of Steve Nash… that type of player you don’t just get rid of for a rebuild.

Haven't you consider trading Bradley Beal to Cleveland in exchange for Donovan Mitchell? Mitchell is not planning to stay long-term in Cleveland. Bradley Beal would be a good fit as a shooting guard in Cleveland while Donovan Mitchell will address the need for a point guard in Phoinex or ship to another team that will make Phoinex acquire better assets in return. Or perhaps trade Bradley Beal to Milwaukee for Damian Lillard.

Philly can use sign and trades, to make a deal happen and throw in some draft picks. Philly might even be able to move off of Tobias Harris in the process. Phoenix gets an actual squad around Booker and Beal. The Thunder have a ton of picks. They can put something together to make the money match and pick up Durant for 2 years before their team starts coming off of their rookie deals and getting too expensive to keep together. They will still have picks to fill out their roster with, KD get's a home coming, and playing with Holmgren and SGA will be the best situation KD has had since being on the Warriors. The problem the suns have is Bradley Beal. If he was tradable that would be the obvious move, but he can’t be traded. Trading Book would be idiotic and KD isn’t going anywhere after what they gave up for him.

Wow. Bleacher Report doesn't even bother to learn that Beal has a no trade clause in his contract. 10/10 journalism. Unless Devon Booker demands a trade, hes not going anywhere. He's their youngest and healthiest player. Beal, with his contract, is stuck in Phoenix. That means Durant is the only viable trade asset.
Realistic (well plausible) trades for the Suns. Philly can use sign and trades, to make a deal happen and throw in some draft picks. Philly might even be able to move off of Tobias Harris in the process. Phoenix gets an actual squad around Booker and Beal.
The Thunder have a ton of picks. They can put something together to make the money match and pick up Durant for 2 years before their team starts coming off of their rookie deals and getting too expensive to keep together. They will still have picks to fill out their roster with, KD get's a home coming, and playing with Holmgren and SGA will be the best situation KD has had since being on the Warriors.
The Timberwolves need to do something about Gobert and KAT. It doesn't fit. They could trade KAT to Phoenix for Durant and instantly ANT has some help on the offensive end, KAT isn't playing out of position, and the Suns at least get a good center and some draft picks out of it.
Cleveland could put together something to offer for KD, but unless Lebron is playing GM, they are not likely to make a big trade.
That took me as long to think about it as it did to type, and all of these moves are better than Bleacker Report's writer. Hire me.
