    All 5 matches were fantastic. Great interactions and a much more competitive match up than I thought.

      I think the siding could have been a bit better, especially game 5 had that raigeki been any kind of interruption we would probably get away with a W. Instead we got a good showcase on why raigeki just doesn't do enough when the setup is already in action.

    Impressive showing for zoo here despite the unfortunate loss
    I was expecting a battle between two staples turbo decks to easily go in the much newer deck's favour, but ig zoo's grind game, resiliency and ability to basically autowin in simplified gamestates means they always have some sort of chance

    Game 4 is how I expected more of these to go. Zoo is pretty much "barrage or bust" if your normal gets stopped. Spright kind of just does the same thing but has way more actual extenders to play around considering all the times they got stopped it took two resources.

  • @donaldlivingston75
    @donaldlivingston75 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Holy hell, that was an AMAZING match. Love two midrange decks going at it.
    Spright has not dominated the way you would expect a 2022 tier 1 deck to dominate against a 2016 and 2017 deck, but they did pull out the victories. Zoodiac looked extremely resilient there.
    Next match, you have two lockout decks going against each other. Mask of restrict might be huge lol. The Djinn lock is actually fantastic against Monarch as they need to special summon to enable their tributes. Could easily go either way here. Gotta give it to Monarch just because it's more explosive.

      @@soup2504 I dont know about that one. Spright got hit when Ishizu started entering the competitive scene. When it comes to full power, in terms of power, Ishizu Tear is better. In terms of consistency, Spright is better. @@CrystronHalq the reason ishizu tear is so good is BECAUSE it's so consistent. You'll rarely ever not hit your combo pieces off mills and the deck is almost always guaranteed to build it's board.

      @@bl00by_ I mean, is difficult to judge. Zoo ability to tech out against any deck is unmatched, to my knowledge. I have played both in Cross Banlist context and No Banlist context enough to tell that, if we take past decks from the TCG/OCG, Zoo is always a force to be reckoned with. For me, the only 2 real candidates for "best deck ever" are indeed Tear and Zoo, with Spright not that far behind. But I can't decide between Tear and Zoo to be honest.
      And no, the OCG No Banlist tournaments are not a real indicator of which deck is the best, because they are not a consistent thing over time, despite the consecutive Tear wins we know about. And this coming from a guy who loves Tear playstyle and would definitely want Tear be called the best deck of all time, no questions.
