Friday Feature Artist - Julie Weaverling

We love being able to connect with our community and learn about the stories away from the screens. As a special treat, this week as part of our Friday Feature Artist series we will be sharing a pre-recorded interview with a former student, painter and Director of Front Porch Gallery, Julie Weaverling.
We first got to know Julie through the challenging and in-depth Masterclass of Donna Watson. Through her time in the class, Julie dug deep and explored new areas that her soul was gently whispering to her. As a result, Julie ‘decided to really follow my heart and take the leap to do something she has wanted to do for some time.
"I am launching a global art project, called Lift the Sky. It is for artists to offer their messages to the world, purely visual, all words or a combination of both."
This project captured the hearts of the FATT team and we have been following her progress with the project since the beginning of 2022.

Ang, I love your interviews! Your calm, yet positive, uplifting demeanor, combined with your smile and humor makes these programs more interesting bc you bring out the artist's inner feelings so they can express themselves more clearly.
