    My husband is Gujarati but raised in UK! Happy you made this video! Patria is one of my favourite…these is be san paste rolled in taro leaves … 😇 Gujarat is the state you have most vegetarians because they are very Dharmic 🙏

    Gujarat is actually a vegetarian man's paradise. Sometimes it takes effort to find non-veg and just about every fast food chain has a vegetarian only version except for maybe KFC. But why would you need anything if the vegetarian food is so good itself and you have so many options.

    • @wilsondsouza1395
      @wilsondsouza1395 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd prefer thali over any fast food

      @@ashufatso TBH I love Rajasthani food but I still prefer Gujarati thali but that's probably just food preferences. But actually many other states have a mixed population with higher ratio of non vegetarians but I know Rajasthan has lots of vegetarians just like Gujarat.

    In my city you missed something called 'Manek Chawk'. It's practically just a food market at night. You would see a variety of food and you'd never forget the experience. We Ahmedabadis are foodies and love to innovate as well so you would have seen amazing crowd and amazing variety altogether. 😁 Maybe next time when you come to Ahmedabad again be sure to check it out and don't eat anything in the morning. Fill the tummy with food heaven of Manek Chawk

    • @Savan_1926
      @Savan_1926 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Yellow one is called Khaman... It is made from gram flour, hence it is yellow. Khaman and Dhokla are different, Khaman is made from gram flour or Chana dal, while Dhokla is made from urad dal and rice.
      Some people also put turmeric in both. But it is optional...👍🙏
