Bought a green quartz one for me on my bday. Though slightly big for my 6.5 inch wrist, i just love the way it shimmers in sunlight. The bracelet scratches easily so do take care. Now saving up for a seiko blue manta turtle.

That is like most entry level of entry level omega watches. I’d say this Tissot is actually the most expensive watch in this dude’s collection rn.

Buddy, you know the Powermatic 80 calibre which is used in this watch has 23 jewels and is based on the ETA C07.111. It actually has a plastic(synthetic)escapement which Tissot refers to as "High Tech Escapement". Basically this movement has plastic parts inside it.
Which means we can't replace or repair the parts. Only solution is to replace the caliber.
But no problem for the person who have multiple watches. For example I wear PSR Powermatic three or four times in a month. So that, you can fully pull the crown to save the power reserve. What I mean is that powematic 80 is serviceable after 5 years if you continuously use it on daily basis. If you use your watch for half of the month it means that your watch needs service after double the time. 5x2: 10 years. So if you use the watch for few days in a month then you can imagine that how much years you can spend without service.
Yes , that's the reason I would prefer Seiko or Alba anyday

I love simplicity and the finesse and elegance it brings. I know it's timeless. But I am not walking into a 5 star and having dal chawal. Not at that price. Whether Tissot or anything.
The Powermatic 80 movement is semi - disposable, it has plastic parts plus it has limited serviceability that means it has a limited life span. The movement also has no regulator. The movement can only be regulated in a Tissot service center.

Go for Seiko 5 is tissot se badiya hai agar budget 35k hai to go for seiko 5 new Divers Series with Jubilee strap that watch is awesome or powermatic 80 se kahi jyda Badiya hai aapki to aapke aage aane vaali generation tak chalegi powermatic 80 ki koi guarantee nahi 😅😅
