I am a BFDIA animator, and I have put a great deal of effort into understanding the style, and now you can, too!
In this video, I give a tutorial on how to create a simple object show animation in the style of BFDIA! I use Pin from BFDIA to accomplish this - I guess she has her limbs back? LOL

I think while the BFDIA style isn't as popular now, I still have a lot of love for it as that was the newest season when I started watching the show. I'm so glad it's back now! I still draw characters using the style to this day.

You can just use some parts of this tutorial in other animation program, you can animate with only keyframes a bit like the walking animation in HFJONE.

BFDI 1a - BFDIA 5e are all animated the same, BFDIA 6+ are animated differently, which is most likely what he’s referring to

2:56 what you can also do is remove snapping, which in old flash is that one magnet thingy, and also begginers like me dont know how to unflip the arms to be normal, so i remove snapping

Small Tip: Once youve placed the mouth symbol, you can put it inside of another symbol and do the lipsync in there. This way even when the lipsync is done you can still move the whole mouth around

if the bfdia assets dont open its bc you don't have adobe animate 2024 or the most recent version of flash
if you have it (adobe animate 2024 or flash)
you can open it (or a adobe flash version that is compatible with action script 2.0 its not a recent version)

The BFDI assets *do* work with older versions (I use 2021). However, the issue may be the fact it’s not coded with Actionscript 3. So you need to use a version of Flash that works with AS3. Any Adobe Animate that exists should do.
