I was a hawkeye main (and still kinda am), but I got sick of awful tanks so i've been playing groot for the last like 40 comps matches and I pretty much match mvp or team mvp 70% of my games. He's so good and is really under played, though I wouldn't want to play against a groot that plays like me haha.
The same reason i started Groot personally! i was a black panther main and just felt my team was afk, picked up Groot and now I'm loving him, congrats on the success man!
this game really is fun, its such a breath of fresh air in the gaming space, and groot sure does have that carry potential. Apart of the reason i love him too
Hey man, love the Groot gameplay! Just curious-why don’t you throw down a wall or two right at the start when you’re defending? They’d probably be off cooldown by the time the enemy gets there anyway. Also, how do you think Groot compares to other tanks on Domination maps? I’m struggling way more on Dom than other modes (I’m GM2 and only play Groot). I’d really appreciate any tips or insights. Thanks
also curious if you'd be willing to upload harder games/ games were you lose or maybe have teammates who has a bad game. I often feel like i do either really well or really pooly, so learning to play and be usefull in hard games is something i want to improve.
Honestly i think groot is pretty good on domination! theres 100% better tanks for that mode, but his walls can be really nasty there aswell. on the part about walling at the start, it really just depends it can come in useful but i like to keep my walls ready for where i see they are coming from

I’m a gm3 groot main and I never knew that you could place two of the small walls beside each other simultaneously gonna need to try and figure out how to do that

@@kodiak3970 I looked into dual streaming but I don’t think my pc could handle streaming to both platforms, I’ll try have another look tonight and see what I find out
Question do you ever use your iron wall passively? Like place it somewhere off to the side just to get the buff from it? Or do you only use it for blocking ppl off
i do use it passively sometimes, but ill be honest its very little. a lot of the time when using the ironwall its atleast in vision of me and the enemies because its easier to get value
@cooldrools6360 1100 hp is amazing of course, and some might find it better depending on their playstyle, but yes in my opinion the ironwood wall is better for cover and/or blocking choke points, groot is a huge target and is pretty easy to hit. i like to look at it as an extra 700hp to hide behind rather than an extra 250hp. if that makes sense

Yeah i was thinking that along with him losing 150+ hp next season aswell, he will be a pretty good counter to groot, but he will also be really good on a team with groot i think, with him being able to pull people together, itll make for huge ult and wall plays i hope! but im scared about wolverine being buffed while we lose that 150hp

Such a quality video. Only tip i could give you, is use your iron wall more aggressively. It's a great separation tool.

@@liamkennedy549 if you hold the button in instead of clicking it’ll show 2 walls when you drag to the side
also if you hold the button beneath you and look straight upwards, it will place 2 walls beneath you, which is ultimate high ground

Hmm thats a hard question honestly, i like playing Yggdrasill Path and Hell's Heaven of the top of my head but i think hes pretty viable on most maps
