at9670 Oh my gosh, the Custom Ones are absolutely amazing, even better than the ath m50s. If you are alright with headphones that don't fold up, the custom one's are probably some of the greatest somewhat affordable headphones you can get. If they are too much for you though, get the ath m50s, while they may not be as good, believe me, they are incredible in every sense of the word and are only slightly worse than the custom ones. And when I say slightly, I mean barely. both are exceptional, the Customs just have the shorter cable but don't fold. The m50s fold but have a longer cable. Both are incredible and some of the best out there!

If you want the obvious overprice products like Beats, Monster or Apple .. go with this guy. If you don't care about what's "in" right now, for value and quality.. i suggest you visit a audiophile forum. But if you're an adult, be a responsible consumer and do a bit of research before putting down 100$+ for headphones. Adolf Hipster Beats look cheap, sound like crap, are HUGELY overpriced. For $300ish the Sennheiser HD280 pros stomp all over them in every single way, design, build quality, and most of all sound for only $130ish.
If beats are in your top 5 than there is no way that you tried more than five headphones. If you are going to ad headphones from that price range than actually do that. You can get far better headphones with better bass and mids and highs and durability and comfortability and great design.

I got the sony pulse elite edition. They're really good, the only bad thing is that it starts to get a little uncomfortable to wear after a while of usage.
I just though id share my $50,000,00 wheat penny value of opinion, honest opinion. Beats by Dr. Dre is simply a big family of beats, which in reality is probably the most overpriced headphone out there till this day. For someone to claim that beats are like top knoch, you have to be 1. Hearing disabled, and mentally crazy... There is no way beats will ever compare to what most of these other companies who have years of production in headphones for studios and live sound mixing. It's all a marketing strategy, just because it trending doesn't mean it's good, heyy ever heard of senheiser they make some good shit, and most likely blow beats out of the water.

If you go a bit higher, you can get a better pair of grados, or the sennhieser 558. like he said: sennheiser... but also check out grado
Sennheiser HD600/Shure SRH1540/ lower price Philips Fidelio X2 and cheaper X1. High end Audeze LCD3, but headphones are part of the system. Running a DAC and AMP will also make a huge difference on all of my suggestions.
Have you tested any of the Sony XB range? XB90 in ear and XB800/900 in over ear. Do you run any amps with your headphones? i use Fiio E11 and its amazing. my personal choice of headphones for the best sounding ive ever heard would be the Sennheiser HD380 PRO. might be worth looking into if your a bass head like me. just like you dont run a car sub without an amp i dont run headphones without an amp :D

First of all, Beats suck, the new Apple ones are better, but they still suck. The Souls are very cheaply made, sound quality much worse than #5, and build quality terrible. But, with the shitty pop music nowadays, it doesn't matter if headphones suck.

the sony wireless headset had awesome sound quality , i find them very comfortable and the noise cancellation is really good too , but one major issue with these is that the sides break. the part under the shiny metal looking circle is just plastic and if u you accidently drop them it will break. i broke 2 of those headsets in 2 years. and now i'm going to the audiotechnica ath m50x's and it might be somewhat a little less bass, i hear people say different things but i hope i like them cuz i already ordered them...

If you like bass. Check out the Philips Fidelio X1's. The bass is unreal for an open-back pair of headphones. But at the same time, the overall sound quality is just mind blowingly good, You get an exceptionally spacious sound, but with plenty of bass thump as well. They're the most "fun" sounding headphones i've ever heard.
Just bought SMS by 50 - DJ Pro Performance I tested so many headphones before I decided and I used to be a sound engineer for Warner so I know sound :) Can't belive they are not in your top 5 list.

Been meaning to ask you about a good set that is wireless and have built-in mic. I got the Bose QC35 series 2, and they are just not delivering. I like the headphones but i have poor sound quality when using at my work pc with bluetooth adapter. I do not know if it is the adapter or what, but i like the Bose, just not the performance. i want to be able to pace back and forth when in meetings.
I've had the Sony pulse headset for a year now. The plastic has stared to brake where the headphones attach to the round part. They've been great until now.... quite sad :(

I've been searching the web for quite a few weeks but there is no mention of Sony Pulse Wireless Headset in any top bass headphone am a serious bass head and by far i have tried JVC XX and Beats Studio which are not very good.The one thing u keep mentioning is the BASS IMPACT,you can get bass impact with the a4 tech hu-111.
Nobody or anything can beat wireless sony pulse elite edition when we talk about bass. You can adjust the bass level. He didn't mention there are six buttom that you can adjust sound to gaming, movies, music, shooter, fighting, racing mode. I got to ask " do your country allowed to search on yahoo!?" you will find sony pulse placed very high.
I just get my Sony Pulse today and my decision was 90% because of this video. So far, I'm happy with it, it has tone of Bass and the headphone more vibrate as I increase the bass, and that's just cool!This is actually good for Gaming; Dance, Pop, Rock music. However, I think Frequency response range is not much so this headphone is not for people who want to record, and studio stuffs.

Dude, you have to check out the Bowers and Wilkins P5. They have a different look than Beats, but I like them better; they have more of a classy look rather than modern. Plus, the sound is incredible. Although the bass won't be as heavy as Beats, the bass goes WAY deeper and lower, and sounds clearer.
Have you ever tried monsters? Im using a pair of monster Ntunes right now and they were like $100 dollars and i find them to sound WAY better than beats. So if you're considering buying a pair of beats make sure you check out monster first because their merch is 100% worth it.

I bought the beats pro for the metal build quality, the looks, and of course the incredible bass. You simply can not say Beats Pro suck, sure they may not be worth the price point in terms of their audio quality. However, when you take in to consideration how good they look and how well they're built I think it's worth the price point. You people really need to grow up and stop hating on headphones you haven't tried.

First of all, Beats suck, the new Apple ones are better, but they still suck. The Souls are very cheaply made, sound quality much worse than #5, and build quality terrible. But, with the shitty pop music nowadays, it doesn't matter if headphones suck.

the sony wireless headset had awesome sound quality , i find them very comfortable and the noise cancellation is really good too , but one major issue with these is that the sides break. the part under the shiny metal looking circle is just plastic and if u you accidently drop them it will break. i broke 2 of those headsets in 2 years. and now i'm going to the audiotechnica ath m50x's and it might be somewhat a little less bass, i hear people say different things but i hope i like them cuz i already ordered them...
You should try out the sony mdr x-10 headphones. They retail for $299 but they lowered the price to $99.

If you like bass. Check out the Philips Fidelio X1's. The bass is unreal for an open-back pair of headphones. But at the same time, the overall sound quality is just mind blowingly good, You get an exceptionally spacious sound, but with plenty of bass thump as well.
They're the most "fun" sounding headphones i've ever heard.

Been meaning to ask you about a good set that is wireless and have built-in mic. I got the Bose QC35 series 2, and they are just not delivering. I like the headphones but i have poor sound quality when using at my work pc with bluetooth adapter. I do not know if it is the adapter or what, but i like the Bose, just not the performance. i want to be able to pace back and forth when in meetings.

Hey. I've seen both your "Top 5 Favorite Headphones".in both you have selected the Sony Pulse Wireless Headset. I've been searching the web for quite a few weeks but there is no mention of Sony Pulse Wireless Headset in any top bass headphone am a serious bass head and by far i have tried JVC XX and Beats Studio which are not very good.The one thing u keep mentioning is the BASS IMPACT,you can get bass impact with the a4 tech hu-111.
Nobody or anything can beat wireless sony pulse elite edition when we talk about bass. You can adjust the bass level. He didn't mention there are six buttom that you can adjust sound to gaming, movies, music, shooter, fighting, racing mode.

Grado has great audiophile headphones from 79-1600.You also need a good headphone amp to get the best out of them no matter what brand.

I just get my Sony Pulse today and my decision was 90% because of this video. So far, I'm happy with it, it has tone of Bass and the headphone more vibrate as I increase the bass, and that's just cool!This is actually good for Gaming; Dance, Pop, Rock music. However, I think Frequency response range is not much so this headphone is not for people who want to record, and studio stuffs.

Dude, you have to check out the Bowers and Wilkins P5. They have a different look than Beats, but I like them better; they have more of a classy look rather than modern. Plus, the sound is incredible. Although the bass won't be as heavy as Beats, the bass goes WAY deeper and lower, and sounds clearer.
Have you ever tried monsters? Im using a pair of monster Ntunes right now and they were like $100 dollars and i find them to sound WAY better than beats. So if you're considering buying a pair of beats make sure you check out monster first because their merch is 100% worth it.

I bought the beats pro for the metal build quality, the looks, and of course the incredible bass.
You simply can not say Beats Pro suck, sure they may not be worth the price point in terms of their audio quality. However, when you take in to consideration how good they look and how well they're built I think it's worth the price point.
You people really need to grow up and stop hating on headphones you haven't tried.
