@@jacksnax4guitar460 Hey Jack, here’s my take on the help/slip breakdown, from a couple years back, waiting for the drummer to show up…I’m just playing along with GAMH 8/13/75, the bass player took the vid…if you choose to watch this, be aware that I’m aware that I’m nowhere your level of killer expertise. th-cam.com/video/5HNTQ1_2qtc/w-d-xo.html
@@josethepainter you sound good!… though I play it with a different fingering and I think it’s much, much easier. Drop me a line @ my email and I’ll hook you up.
Great lesson Jack! Took me a loooong time to learn this one. Wish I would have had Jacksnax back when I was learning these songs! Been playing these songs for a long time and I still pick up great technique tips from you! Thanks again for a super lesson... Mabey a Help-Slip Franklin from the Great American Music Hall 1975 show someday?
Thats such a beautiful guitar, Jack. Youre lessons are fantastic, i am so GRATEFUL. My followers on TikTok are loving the Jerry solos ive been posting. You’re making me sound good. I appreciate all of these videos ✌️ 🌸
That use of the flat five in the Dorian always reminds me of something Dickey Betts used to do on tracks like Whipping Post on Fillmore East, very interesting sound to blend in. Your videos are superb, so much information to be gained from them and really helps develop ideas on these great Dead tunes. Thanks so much!
Dont mind me asking.. What year is your Les Paul.. Singnature correct? Mines a gold top. Identical 73 Les Paul Signature. Sound is so pleasing.. so well rounded and that tinge of a cigarbox quality I can only hear from an f body Gibson. Excellent guitar for anything Dead ✌️
I don’t have a Les Paul sig. cool guitars, but I never found one that appealed to me. I own 56 Junior and 59 RI….those are awesome guitars, each with their own video on the channel if you’re curious. Thanks for stopping by.😊😊😊
Hey...I found a guy named Brendan Connolly (spelling?) that has a channel called Weirgrateful. He does really good Bobby guitar. He's in NY too. You may wanna check him out when you get a chance if you haven't. Thanks for the lesson.
Amazing lesson and awesome guitar playing 🙏
@@acousticguitarguy-fv2ig thank you
Sounds great! Such a great tune. Was listening to war memorial 1977 and the opening help is sick. Gotta learn this solo!
Another great lesson, Jack! Thanks, as always…
Thank you for checking it out!

You're phenomenal, thank you for making content!
Really nice of you to say that😁😊👍
Loved playing this (and others) with you - but i have to say it's really great to SEE what you were playing (and learn why it works). Great stuff.
Hey brother bass! Hope you’re well…thanks for watching👍😊
Another great spot--on lesson. you da man! That being said...a breakdown on Hard to Handle and/or Beautiful Jam would be great.
This lesson was amazing thank you again! Do you show how to play the slipknot part in any of your other videos like the falling arpegios?
I don’t have that posted online. But have taught it to many, many students.
