Weird. Authorized Dealers “only get one or two” Pepsi’s and Batman’s a year yet Bobs has had 6 of the new Batman’s since they were announced in April. Seems they’re readily available for grey market dealers. Rolex ADs suck so much. Can’t wait for the next recession so these glorified retail store workers are put back in their place.

I was very lucky to have bought my 16760 fat lady on its original Jubilee when I did, I love the piece , it's my favorite Rolex and has gone up in value quite a bit..
It drives me crazy when claims are made that the 1675 is affordable [this fuschia bezel with unpolished case will run you +20k] or that the 16760 is in ‘abundant supply’. Where and for who exactly? In the latter case, it’s nearly impossible to find one with an original (tritium) dial and hands. Most dials degraded badly from age and this short production watch is extremely rare in its unpolished original form. Trust me, I’ve been searching for nearly a decade.
Its funny how the Rolex watches that I don't like are the ones that are pushed to be bought the most. I think this GMT,the Submariner and the Daytona are ugly and I have tried to like them but I can't. To me a beautiful Rolex is the Cellin, the Date Just and the Sky Dweller when am ready thats what I'll buy.
Lol the guy runs a channel and doesn't know that Daytona and sky dweller are way more demanded than these watches that already go for 16k on the gray market ( which means you can hustle it down to a price of a hulk ) ? They are just like hulks .. everybody has them ..

I'm curious. The 6542 is listed here as being manufactured from 1954 to 1959, but I saw on "Antique's Roadshow", an appraisal of a 6542 that was manufactured in 1960.
I want an Explorer 2 polar....probably the newer 42 mm with orange hand....when I have saved up will probably go to Bobs watches....there website is phenomenal!
OT - would love to see a video about straps. When/why change the one that came with the watch, how to pick a replacement (what are the factors: type, style, ...), and my pet peeve: why NATO straps.
Interesting video but could have been better. You need to work on your interview technique. Stop interrupting your guest! Why invite an expert if you keep stopping them from talking? Bob is a gentleman. He should have kicked your shins under the table. When you have a guest on the show, THEY are the center of attention - NOT the interviewer! Very rude.

Happy 116710 owner here. I got mine before the recent "phaseout" at this year's Baselworld which further increased the prices of the outgoing model. Much prefer the oyster bracelet over the jubilee. Shame though, because the new GMT Master II has a newer, much better movement.

I’m 22 (21 when I walked into the AD), waited 5 months and just got the call and purchased the 126710BLNR! Couldn’t believe my luck.
