Donovan Mitchell is turning into such an underrated player... dude put up over 20 points in a quarter his rookie season against Paul George in a close out game in the playoffs (doesn’t have a playoff moment) and is an absolute beast when it matters most these guys don’t know anything about winning unlike Donovan people don’t actually watch basketball nowadays it’s just highlights and stats smh

I don’t agree with Kenny putting Jon Issac over John Collins, his point was how he values someone who can do it on both sides of the ball but it’s not like Issac is anything great on offense, 12 PPG and below average shooting splits

The fact that Aaron Gordon is only contributing 14.5/7.6/3.6 on 43/30/67 shooting, is damn near 25 already, and still made everyone's list was kinda crazy. Kelly Oubre Jr. is one name, for example, that I'd put over him that didn't make anybody's list. He's two months younger, is posting far better shooting splits, scores more, rebounds similarly and plays a comparable level of defense. He's also been a huge contributor to the Suns level of energy as a team, a real spark plug since he was brought in last December.
Nobody is arguing than Bam RIGHT NOW is better than Zion, but the point of this list was who would you pick to build around. And Zion should be at the very least, top 10.
Here's my list off the top of my head off the straight up eye test, feel free to come at me: Luka Tatum Simmons Zo Jaylen Brown Mitchell Trae KP Sabo Zion Bam KAT Booker Ja Shai BI D-lo Lavine De'Aaron Murray Lauri JJ Jr. Nunn Collins Herro
Just my quick take on that empty stat bit at 1:06:09 . The empty stats bad team argument is definitely overused in dismissing players but sometimes it is valid. Like when MCW won Rookie of the Year, his points rebounds and assists were impressive but his team wasn't competitive at all. The 76ers point differential for that season was like -10.5 and MCW was getting a lot of his stats in garbage time but he was still seen as a promising player. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when a player's team struggles to even keep games close, their stats shouldn't be taken at face value.
zach lavine is one of the elite scorers in the league rn. can't name 10 people that are purer offensively than this man. put him on a contender and a coach that he doesnt detest and i promise you he will improve effort (which is basically what defense is heavily predicated on) on the defensive end. dmills placing zach this high did not warrant such a reaction from the rest of the guys lol
A.J Loco Zion might of played only 19 games but dominated as soon as he came back I guarantee you if any rookie in any draft class in the last 2 years or even 3 they would have had trouble to dominate off the tempo if they came back from missing off the season that’s just me

1-5: Luka, Tatum, KAT, Zion, Ben simmons. 6-10: Trae, Booker, Ingram, Mitchell, JA 11-15: Jaylen Brown, SGA, DRussel, Fox, Porzingis. 16-20: Bam, Ayton, Jaren Jackon Jr, Lavine, Murray. 21-25: Sabonis, Isaac, Ball, Collins, MPJr (might be missing someone i cant rmmbr for some reason, this is off the top of my head)
David Fitzdale might be a sleeper pick for the Brooklyn head coach.
I don’t agree with Kenny putting Jon Issac over John Collins, his point was how he values someone who can do it on both sides of the ball but it’s not like Issac is anything great on offense, 12 PPG and below average shooting splits
Huntr C defense is really nice though
Huntr C Isaac’s defense is better than Collins offense and Isaac’s offense is better than Collins defense.
Bud just watch a Magic game from earlier this year, isaac controlls the game with his defense
ProdigyYeezy
Hard agree
Not a single list at the top of the comments smh
Erik Tallos exactly. Idk why they don’t summarise everyone’s top 10 at the end or put it in a link below. Like. Not everyone finna watch the whole show man
47:27 when they all turned their heads and looked at d-mills you knew he was about to disappoint them😂
43:54 Kenny be like ya bup uop
1:07:53 the basics make basketball fun
Wassup, just wanted to let yall know, that i am a huge fan. I am from Slovakia (small ass country in Europe 😂) and I have been watchin TTW for like a year and a half now. Its kinda difficult to watch nba games cause they are so late at night, but i try to. So keep up the dope work!

Every episode I hope P hits"through the wire" in the right key😂
The fact that Aaron Gordon is only contributing 14.5/7.6/3.6 on 43/30/67 shooting, is damn near 25 already, and still made everyone's list was kinda crazy. Kelly Oubre Jr. is one name, for example, that I'd put over him that didn't make anybody's list. He's two months younger, is posting far better shooting splits, scores more, rebounds similarly and plays a comparable level of defense. He's also been a huge contributor to the Suns level of energy as a team, a real spark plug since he was brought in last December.
Bruh rn if im in a game 7 in the finals I’m taking Bam at this moment over Zion.
Nobody is arguing than Bam RIGHT NOW is better than Zion, but the point of this list was who would you pick to build around. And Zion should be at the very least, top 10.
I was hollering over this Metta World Peace jersey argument
My top 5 are
5.Ingram
4.simmons
3.tatum
2.trae
1.luka

Ja
Shai
BI
D-lo
Lavine
De'Aaron
Murray
Lauri
JJ Jr.
Nunn
Collins
Herro
Nah this facts I wouldn’t have so that Hugh but other than that it’s fine
I feel bad for Derrick he just seems like he rly doesn’t know what he did wrong
Y’all should list honorable mentions before you guys start listing your list
JT and Jaylen in the beginning of the season were on the same level not just stats but their averages were around the same and JB was more efficient
Lmfaoooo “ I’m about to take my jacket off” 😂😂😂
Big fan alert💪🏻💪🏻
Just my quick take on that empty stat bit at 1:06:09 . The empty stats bad team argument is definitely overused in dismissing players but sometimes it is valid. Like when MCW won Rookie of the Year, his points rebounds and assists were impressive but his team wasn't competitive at all. The 76ers point differential for that season was like -10.5 and MCW was getting a lot of his stats in garbage time but he was still seen as a promising player. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when a player's team struggles to even keep games close, their stats shouldn't be taken at face value.
Bro I used to watch y’all daily I missed yall
Dlo > ja > Fox
Tannermcboss Dlo one of the most disrespected nba players ever 🤷🏾♂️
D Lo is extremely underrated
Derrick if u fuck up on one more podcast I’m formally applying for that seat on TTW 😂
zach lavine is one of the elite scorers in the league rn. can't name 10 people that are purer offensively than this man. put him on a contender and a coach that he doesnt detest and i promise you he will improve effort (which is basically what defense is heavily predicated on) on the defensive end. dmills placing zach this high did not warrant such a reaction from the rest of the guys lol
1. Luka 2. Zion 3. Simmons 4. Jayson 5. Young
DBOOK should be their
My top 10 is
1) LUKA
2)Ben
3)Trae
4)Towns
5)Book
6)JT
7) DMITCH
8)Zion
9) Ingram
10) JA
Zion already?
A.J Loco um yes definitely
Logical Hoops I mean he only played 19 games I feel like Ja should be above him rn
A.J Loco Zion might of played only 19 games but dominated as soon as he came back I guarantee you if any rookie in any draft class in the last 2 years or even 3 they would have had trouble to dominate off the tempo if they came back from missing off the season that’s just me
Logical Hoops nah you right looking back at it Zion is a athletic freak really
Luka
Tatum
Zion
Trae
Ben
Kat
Booker
Ingram
Ja
Mitchell
Shai
Bam
Sabonis
JB
Porzingis
DLO
Fox
TheHelperChannel trae>zion idc what potential bs you’re going off of. man was a all star starter for christ’s sake.
I like to see Derrick improving but he’s still got places to go
Y'all need to do this again
