Great points Marc, you're totally right that pretty much all fragrances have the ability to get you compliments because they were created to smell nice - which is why it's so annoying when certain reviewers hype up bargain bin flankers (not naming names) and talk about how great they smell - there's so much more to a fragrance than it 'smelling nice'.
The algorithm won’t support detailed and thoughtful messages like yours. Maybe you could release youtube shorts that just list your favorites in a flashy way and these brief but way more helpful videos as well. I love the super long top seasonal lists, but you could also do quick hitters for favorite colognes with a certain note too.

Have Amber Narguile. Beautiful fragrance! My most complimented are Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather. Had the cashier at McDonald’s ask me what it was… lol! Another is Bergamask.
Original Polo in the green bottle has gotten me the most complaints of any cologne I’ve ever worn….women just hate the opening notes but I still wear it for nostalgia, smells good to my nose lol
What was the name of the one that smelled like warm apple pie? Those work really well with my skin as well in the fall and winter. I just couldnt hear what the name was lol

It's kinda funny that my top 3 'compiment getters' are all mass pleasing frags that seem to divide the fragrance community: 1. Jimmy Choo Urban Hero EdP 2. Dior Sauvage EdP 3. Armani Code Parfum Especially Jimmy Choo frags seem to catch a lot of flack from both infuencers and 'fragrance enthusiasts'.
What do you mean when you say a fragrance “works well on your skin”? I’ve heard people say that & I’ve never smelled that has really smelled worse on my skin. Some last longer than others, but that’s about all I’ve noticed. Feel like I could be walking around with fragrance that doesn’t work with my skin without even knowing it.

Funny you mention the repetitive lists. I just finally unsubbed to a few channels I never watch anymore since it is all the same rehashed tripe. I figured why stay subbed since they will never put out anything other than the same 5-6 lists redone.
That is the fact. I dont care for compliments. Its happenstance. Purely fluke. Most times, the person complimenting you had another reason for doing it. Well groomed. Shiny shoes. Attractive. Fragrance is a nonverbal appeal.

If only it performed. I just recently purchased a sampler trio right from Creed and the longevity is atrocious.
