Hello!! I'm a first year nursing student and I found this really helpful for making my case studies. I have a question to ask. Do all of the ndx(health promotion, risk, and problem focused dx) should be connected to one another? For example, I have made a health promotion diagnosis stating about " readiness for enhanced coping" and then for my risk is "risk for impaired skin integrity", and for my actual "acute pain related to movement of bone fragments as evidenced by mask of pain". Please help, I'm having confusions for this one.

I'm not very familiar with that book, does it have all of the nursing diagnoses listed along with goals and interventions? If it does, than it will work. If not though, I really recommend getting the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by Ackley and Ladwig.

Since your still in your 1st year of Nusring school, the best advice I can give you is that try harder to learn all of the common Nursing theories (fundamentals of nursing), read and study the NANDA book and Nursing Dictionaries. Thats for now for your 1st year journey, brother.😊
