To be candid, there are very few names in Anambra State or even the entire Igboland that will come before Chinua Achebe in this case. The closest would be Odumegwu Ojukwu, Osita Osadebey, Celestine Uku, Oliver De Coque, etc. Peter Obi Deserves recognition but his time is not now.
This airport supposed to name after Peter Obi or Winnie Obiano who build the airport regardless or leave the name as Anambra Airport for now but Soludo jealousy and enviousness over Peter Obi make him to give the name to Chinua Achebe immediately because he knew that in future Anambra state people will consider Peter Obi's name for the airport. Soludo hated Peter Obi with passion out of jealousy you may believe this or not. Anambra, we move.

I arrived at that airport during December time. The airport is beautiful and it is comparable to the Lagos airport.
