The only issue I have with this is that they did not have the right equipment using to remove FFB. It appeared to be so much of a hassle. Also, I don’t think they should have been climbing it looks dangerous. They should have the long stick with the blade.

We grow oil palm in Malaysia. For 8 year old trees, the height is 3 times taller. Although later trees in the video had similar height like those in Malaysia. The fruit harvested in this video looked smaller and lighter. Main factor might be water. From this video it seems like more suitable to grow dates in a drier climate.
There are different varieties of Palm. There is the dwarf variety.

Why are they using axe? This is not the right tool for harvest palm oil. Please check out the video how to harvest palm oil fruit in malaysia or indonesia. It was easier than this. Trust me 😎
