      Also I have a suggestion, your 395ds alliance has a fantastic floor plan..but I suggest you build one with that L-shape couch from your new valor floor plan..

    I have an Alliance 29RL. It is fantastic. What's broken is warranty service. My trailer has been at the dealer for over 6 weeks for warranty work. Nothing huge but the Alliance warranty process takes FOREVER! So much for after the sale customer support.

    I love your videos, they helped us buy our first 5th wheel. Considering getting a mid bunk soon and was wondering what your opinion of the Venture Sporttech 5th wheels might be? Thank you!

    Talking about the same issues - again and again - really helps to ingrain what you’re teaching. Use the plumbing topic alone, you know there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people that (now) know what to look for. Informed consumers pushing back is what will force manufacturers to start building better units. 👍

    I'm super glad to see the update on the slide. Our 2024 (built in November 2023 according to the stickers) 310RL has a BAL slide in the bedroom, not AccuSlide nor Schwintek. Also, our water heater is gas/electric, not tankless - I LOVE it! We had a tankless water heater in our K-Z, and this is much easier to consistently use. Our fit and finish is lacking in the bathroom wall where it isn't flush. Otherwise, it's been great! I truly enjoy your reviews and appreciate the update on the slide because that caused you to give it an F rating before. Congratulations to Alliance for paying attention to its customers!

      Doesn't BAL make the Accu-Slide?

    • @barbaracherry1082

      @@BobMiller-r7o I'm sorry. I meant to say "the BAL Exact Slide." You are correct.

    • @OmahaWayne
      @OmahaWayne 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BobMiller-r7o Yes they do. The exact-slide by BAL is a improved version of the accu-slide. Address most of the issues. Jacob has mentioned these in other videos.

    Paradigms never had tankless water heaters on any model year. They have also gone away from schwintech slides in 2024 models. Please look into this a bit more

    "Fit and finish" was the same material that you did 6 months ago?? That was disappointing. I was expecting new material. I took a tour through their plant back in February. If you have not toured yet maybe you could arrange making a video of their Delta or 5th wheel lines and address some of these observations you've had.

    • @vincew9482
      @vincew9482 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree. A bit disappointing he used old material for a new video.
      His older videos have really opened my eyes on what I should be looking for in a new RV, especially with regards to plumbing. So much so that I passed on another grand design and went with a different manufacturer. Having said that his videos are becoming very repetitive and his constant push for his products is getting old. More how to videos like the plumbing series would be awesome.

    • @josephscheneck1540
      @josephscheneck1540 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Actually, he used parts of his older video. The new 2024 models use solid wood in the drawers -- I saw that in Tampa and, when asked, Alliance said they changed due to his earlier video.

    I am looking to a Forest River Ultra light TT either next year or after that. You have already ripped up the plumbing on that line so I'm hoping they fix it by the time I buy. But the unit I'm looking at under 30 feet gets its room by having three slides. I have been leery of Schwintec for years but noticed the front wardrobe slide on the one I'm looking at is schwintec while the other two are rack and pinion old school the one you like best. I know about the weight issues with schwintec and apparently NOW so does Grand Design based upon their changes over the last year. I won't buy anything before like 2024 because of their Schwintec slides, not to mention apparently frame issues.
    They had to get a special letter from Schwintec for one of their units because it exceeded design standards AND they put a fridge and have had nothing but problems. But, wardrobe slides are light, very light with a primary load of clothing in them. So, I will do that test you do for sure, but I think I'm OK with a Schwintec small wardrobe slide...

    GREAT VIDEO Jacob !!!
    This must have been an early 2023 model. Still 100% accurate for that model.
    Late 23 and 24 paradigms went back to the 12 gallon gas/electric tank water heater (due to feedback) and also went to the BAL exact slide for the bedroom slides.
    Your courses are amazing , Thanks for making them. I have learned a ton from them.

    Love your reviews and comments on types of components. A question on lumbercore's exposed edges. Can they be treated with a sealer to prevent water from being absorbed?

    Great review and not surprising. As a long time Tampa RV Super Show attendee, I can't wait to see the new entries each year and how see how they all tout the customer service and quality they will offer. I recall GD being on the midway one year. Didn't look much different from anything else but they very much promised quality and customer service. Now look at them. Then it was Alliance. How long will it be before they start going downhill? More recently its Brinkley. Nothing is built like my former 2011 Carriage or my 2014 Lifestyle LRV. Glad I'm not in the market for another RV and I was it would be an older unit.

    I live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, and it amazes me that almost every dealership offers these new rv's for sale with this poor of a fit and finish. I would be embarrassed as a salesman if I had to wait for the purchaser to have to ask and have those factory defects fixed prior to purchase. It just shows how unreliable as a whole these dealerships are.

    I don't understand why the rv industry doesn't use expansion PEX connections. They're cheaper and provide better flow. Any thoughts? Maybe PEX A is more expensive? Idk

    • @j37j2
      @j37j2 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just seems like you'd be hard pressed to mess up a PEX A connection and you'd never have any leaks.

    • @ttman5069
      @ttman5069 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They did use PEX-A in older models but instead of expansion fittings, they used Flare-it twist on fittings. Not sure exactly why they changed other than to probably save time and money.

    Jacob. Now im confused. I thought you said that cable slides were the worst product on the market and are guaranteed to fail. You fix more of them than any other type. Run for the hills if you see them. Now in the viewer comments Alliance has replaced Shwintech bedroom slides with cable types and it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. What's going on?

    • @OmahaWayne
      @OmahaWayne 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      BAL Accu-slides are the bad ones. Alliance is using BAL Exact-Slide which is a much better and improved design. In a couple other slide videos he talks about how the exact slide is much better.
