I am in a situation where my parents dont have any form of income so i need to provide for my family. From paying a bond to buying all essentials therefore i cannot afford to buy a car or house. I am definitely drowning but because i believe that my blessings will come from providing for my family i will be okay and everything will happen when the time is right
It all shall be well. What’s also important is to make sure that there aren’t any unnecessary expenses. If certain things can be ‘let go’ to free up some money for saving or investing, you should think about it. We praying for you Terryn 🙏🏾🤗❤️
Black tax: to remove the emotion i decided to be selfish, and it works. Whenever am asked for money I ask myself, Does this give me peace?, if not, You not getting that money.
A lot of bars were dropped in this video, I think I should watch it once every month from now on (this very video) .. Woww I'm so inspired.. Thank you so much guys.. 📖 Currently planning and redirecting my future... Oh and I'm an investor💃😂.. And I'm 19 and single, by the time I get into a relationship I'll be knowing of all these facts ❤️💯Shuuu there is so much content that's why my comment is quite lengthy😂.. I'm grateful.. I'd truly love a Pt2 with the Luthulis.. Very insightful 💞God bless you all❤️
This comment is just the right length. You said all I wanted to say but couldn't say✨❤️ We definitely need part 2, and I'm hitting that notification button 🙈
the issue of black tax is real but i think we are taking a step in the right direction if we are now talking about it and how it affects us. we need to stand up and bridge the gap.
The fixed deposit really works, my mom died when I was ten years old and I was soon sent to boarding school where I started to get access to grocery money and one of the bank tellers asked me if I wanted to save money I said yes but I don't have alot he told me even if it's R100 and so I started saving R200 and then years later when family bailed on me while I was in university and my laptop had crashed. That bank text message saved my studies becouse it was reminding me that I have savings and that's when I went to get my emergency cash from my savings and I fixed my laptop. This saved me alot.
Very informative, we should talk more about marriage, Lobola, in and out of community, everything. It should be a topic on its own with real life examples. This is deep and need to educate ourselves on this.
Checked in late but still did and boy am I glad I did coz firstly I’m in the financial field and in the long term I want to start what Trudy and Mduduzi have!Thank you for dropping such gems!!!#thendlovugang Kenya edition!!
This was such a good topic guys. It's so important to have these uncomfortable conversations as a nation. I think u should definitely continue with these finance talks because we have a lot to learn when comes to money, saving & how to create wealth.
I love this Channel, it's so informative. it's high time we have these difficult conversations and make it a norm. Please bring them back again Mom and dad. 🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️
On The black tax issue i totally disagree with Mduduzi+Trudy when they say just look at the numbers, i feel that they speak from a position of privilege,ie.. There are a lot of child headed households in RSA, its unfortunate however it's our reality. Should 1 of the kids get the opportunity to study instead of just look for a job post matric. They have to cater and look after their siblings so they too can contribute to the economy. The conversation should be on educating black people from a young age on financial literacy and finance and how they can empower themselves.
Please do more videos like this in the future. Have never binge-watched a couple's channel before. I really enjoy you guys' content. Loving the fun chilled vibes.
I thought this was clickbait, man was I surprised and educated at the same time. Talks like this should happen more often, even make it a regular thing, once a month of finance or something.
Shuuuuu 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥This is Fiiiiiiirrrrrrreeeeeeeee🤯, a definite MUST WATCH... So, many bars of Wisdom.. Very Insightful... Thank you, so much to Steph and Hungani, Truddy and Mdu "The Luthuli Capital" 🔌👌....
At first i thought,WHAT!! But then i remembered that titles are not what they and plus mommy aka Steph would never act like a gold digger. #i think daddy Hungs does the editing to make mom look bad! #justjoking early squad!!
Woooooow thank you 😍😍😍❤️what a very informative talk I really appreciate I got to learn a lot of things today. Thank you guys I learn a lot from every video of you guys ❤️😘. And thank you Trudy 🤗how I wish my mother could also see that her being there for me financially doesn't rule out the need for me to have a father😔. They got divorced when I was a kid and he has never been part of my life financially emotionally or physically. So at times I try to vent and she just cut me out saying you got me I do everything for you. But I was happy hearing you say that money it's just a tool and she can't be a handy man. Thank you so much The Ndlovus ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was watching the wedding vid for the third time today and mdu and thuli were shown more than 5 times but to answer your question, i am still waiting for my parents to let me do a channel and if the ndlovus let me, i might do an #thendlovusuncut inspired video. Love you guys : ) peace!!
Wow okay part 2 I'm waiting I've learnt a lot shame the hours was like 30min ow and I'm level 1 working for level 4 lol . I really love money matters me thing of the question I will be asking future bae
This was informative. Its interesting to hear about marriage contracts when you are married and not married... It feels very different. The reasons and views differ a lot...
Wow I’m so glad I came across this video even though it’s 5 months later!! I relate so much to the black tax topic, I’m 21 years old and Yoh the responsibility is too much , the thing that bothers me the most is that I’m still trying to figure out my life too but just because I took a gap year in America doing a not so fancy job I’m moneyed 😭 ... I feel like a terrible person whenever I say No! But this video is a eye opener. Thank you guys!!!
My very late 2 cents on the men not being able to be defined outside of how much more money they earn than their spouses/partners is also perpetuated not only by society, but by the very women they live with/are married to. Many women tend to want a man with money. They ask things like "can you afford me" on the first date and this is adding fuel to the fire. Most men won't be able to live in a society with women who require that they earn more than them harmoniously because women tend to remind them that they earn less. And it's also a tough one to balance where you want to be with someone not because of how much money they have, but what they have to offer you. Yet here you are asking him about his/her money matters. So it's got layers and is shaded, not just plain old black and white. Sorry for the extra-long comment 😉 Love you guys. Very new to the channel ❤
Learned a lot from watching this episode! Thank you guys! Would also love for them to come back and talk more in details about the levels that Mdu was talking about.
Enjoyed this video very much. You guys are helping start conversations which couples should already be having. If you are going to do a series of videos on relationship financial talk, please do one on stigmas around marrying out of community of property. Due to how most South Africans are raised, a lot of people still view marrying out of community as saying to your partner that you do not trust them and that you plan on divorcing them. There is this trust and surety placed on marrying in community of property which we need to move away from. Like Steph, we were taught that in community of property is a declaration of love but this is not the case. We need to talk more about this.
I'm watching this video now only, sorry and I can totally relate. My mom always say "my kind moet werk vir my" eish then I give up and just give money even if I know I won't make it through the month
Amazing talk guys thank you so much, its eye opening especially for couple who are on a journey to becoming married. Much love to the Ndlovu's, and please do bring back the Luthuli capital back.
I really had to sleep coz I’m going to work tomorrow but I’m proud I stayed and watch coz iyoh I’ve been asking myself about marriage lately because I’m in a committed relationship thank you guys so much
Thank you the Ndlovu's and The Luthuli's. What an informative video, more especially about black tax, generational wealth, finances and different types of marriages. Sometimes these are hard conversations to be held but the time is now. Keep them coming, lets face our realities and have these talks once or twice a month please. That will help us grow n face our day to day financial lives.

Bless you... It is well!!
You deserve a life above from making ends meet, I struggle with that and I still do but keep pushing and growing something is bound to happen
It all shall be well. What’s also important is to make sure that there aren’t any unnecessary expenses. If certain things can be ‘let go’ to free up some money for saving or investing, you should think about it. We praying for you Terryn 🙏🏾🤗❤️
Hungani and staph let me tell you something 🔥😭this is the video of the year shame I dont wanna lie ... Thank you guys we needed this!

Mduduzi has this thing where, randomly while he's speaking he just smiles and i cant help but smile too, i love it
He loves educating and helping people achieve financial freedom 💯
I am 19, with a part time job and I'm saving but once I turn 20 I want to start investing too
