It's a good desk. Be sure to get the MK2 version as they fixed a lot of the problems of the MK1--ground issues, etc.

Its too bad that these are discontinued, what is the difference with mk ii?

I think the main difference is that the mk ii has different grounding. I know the mkI had issues with that and it affected the motor faders in particular. You can tell it's a mk ii also bc the firewire card it shaped differently than the mki as well. I wish they would have updated the soundcard instead of discontinuing all together.

@@JayFrederick yeah, there's not much like it in the market.
It is a massive board to fit in my studio, but I am thinking seriously on getting one. This, Audient Zen or maybe just 2802 is enough for the project I do.
So the cards weren't good? I am thinking of getting the analogue ones

it's mostly just VIs and samples summed through the desk. I don't think anything was recorded through the desk on this track
