I mix coconut oil with olive oil and 3 drips of honey , I apply them twice the week on my beard and face , leave it for 20 minutes then wash it off with baby shampoo ( recommended for beard ) but question here ? Nope that stuff is processed , what you want is a block of creamed coconut it's soft to the touch and it's got a slightly gritty consistency like you find in expensive beard balms (it's what they use) forget about cold pressed that's also a gimmick 100% pure creamed coconut is the best. Melts easy and isn't gritty when melted.
recently had a light bulb moment and made the switch over to coconut oil and what a difference it has made! imo far superior to traditional beard oil in every way... i also do not miss the oily hands

Any issues with too much oil on the skin? I'm at about 4 plus inches and either my skin is too dry or too oily from beard oil and leave in conditioner (which seems better) but I cannot seem to get comfortable for more than six hours. Trying coconut today.
@@arccway well the coconut oil just disappeared into my very very dry beard. I got about 1-2 golf balls worth in. I left it in for 12-14 hours over night. BAD IDEA. I had a bad reaction when washing it out. (PRO TIP use room temp water in your beard. Not cold and never hot.) Sprayed in some leave in conditioner, spread it around and then after I got dressed, I spread in about 1/4 a golf ball worth. I don't even play golf haha. I've learned that coconut oil is a sealing oil and it does not have the penetration we want. Using a thin penetrating oil and then sealing with an oil like coconut is the ideal method. A week later with a little bit twice a day, I am seeing more comfort. Drinking a gallon of water every day will also help a beard at risk become comfortable again. There is no immediate solution for a neglected beard even if by accident. It takes patience and consistency. Only four inches haha.

From my understanding dandruff is due to a couple of things from the human body, one can diet second can be grooming, third can be physical activity. Coconut oil with help with the moisturize of your hair folic and the scalp. Reducing the amount of dandruff do to the dehydration that your body having lack of nourishment.

Oh yeah 100% sometimes you don’t even need a lot if you have only 4 inches of hair. To start off in moderation do a palm size
