    The G90 is on my to-buy list for 2024. It will be a great complement to my G9 and GH5 II. I love that it weighs less, has unlimited video recording, some in-camera editing which makes it great for on-the-move social media, and a sweep panorama mode, which is something I always love in a camera and hate that manufacturers tend to leave out of higher end models. I have never understood that.

    The G90 is on my wish list for 2020. I'm very happy with my G80 but the live view composite function of the G90 makes it a perfect camera for me.

    Just got mine a few days ago (G95 in Canada). I don't know if it's being discontinued but I got it for just 1000 dollars Canadian (577 BP). Loving it. Had the FZ1000 superzoom before. Like the smaller size and expanded aperture and other features. Can't wait to be able to travel again!

      That’s the same price as in the UK currently when you add on local taxes and import duty 😊 Glad you’re enjoying using it so far - it’s a great camera!

    I have a G9 plus 100-400 mm Leica for sports and birds but when the action in sports gets closer the 100-400 can't focus there so looking for something else to fit the 14-140mm Panasonic lens to.
    Plus saw a video of a Panasonic G100 doing in-body Sequence Composition but the highest mechanical shutter was 1/500th so no good for sports. Then found out that the G95 (Australia) does Sequence Composition as well as a few more models, some of which don't do lens changes.

    What I don't like about m4/3s current crop of models eg G9/G90, etc they are no longer compact, and wide aperture lenses are big and heavy, etc what the, you mind as well carry an APSC or FFrame with compact lenses.

    Right now G85 kit can be had for $640. G95 kit should be price $999, but despite that I would still go for the G9 at $1000.

    Newly added Live View Composite feature ?

    • @WilkinsonCameras
      @WilkinsonCameras  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, the new Live View Composite function gives users the ability to view a long exposure in real time on the LCD screen and the power to stop it when you think the image is exposed correctly. It's perfect for long exposure landscapes or astrophotography.

  • @pauloancarvalho

    Please stop adding black bars on top and bottom. When in theater mode it will show vertical bars on TH-cam. Edit in 2560x1080 or 1920x822, you will get the black bars on top and bottom naturally without vertical bars! :) I guess I will stick to my G80 for now since it still doesn't have 4k50p (and the 100fps doesn't support manual exposure .

    It still only got 20mbits at 1080p25/30 and 28mbits at 1080p50/60. Way too low. The GH5 got 100mbits at 1080p25.

      Yep the 4k quality is amazin but at 1080p it's kind of bad, any hope for a fix with a future firmware or a hack?

    • @thewalkingvloggingman7152
      @thewalkingvloggingman7152 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who gives a damn about 1080p? If that's all you care about then buy the g7 because 4k is for serious video shooters 1080p is for Amateurs such as yourself.

    Looking for versatile video camera plus photo. M50 vs g95 vs dsrl 90d or t8i maybe sl3.
    Combine canon50 i just bought features and sensor it be more of awesome camera...better track focus 10 bit. I cant wait m50 on delivery...take along time. Only reasons I did not get g95 and I dont like seems photos and video seems gray not like canon detail and contrast focus. M50 I'm not sure video time limit on full hd? only 30 minutes only on 4k...its ok..solution battery coupler extra batteries usb chargers powerbank and use distance and several takes in between shots...long record only good without disruptions and meetings without lost focus or audio. G95 has long battery long record weather seal more stable headphonejack sd on side not bottom good price but focus gray picture not easy access to mf to ef efs adapter for canon lenses and battery coupler? It usb 2.0 slow charge off. Panasonic lenses wide options but limited because expensive and small sensor.
