The "cak cak cak" one is Bali traditional dance, called Tari Kecak (Kecak Dance). The group of male will make melody from the cak cak cak sounds and one women will dancing at the middle based on the kecak rhythm. U can searching on youtube for the kecak dance. It's awesome. I always have goosebumps everytime watch Tari Kecak because the cak cak cak melody is sounds cool but mystical.
Note : all songs in here is a medley traditional song from several tribes/ethnics. Except the rap part and the ending of video (when women looks like an elf or angel one who singing about fallen heroes, is one our national anthem to tribute our fallen heroes who have died in a battles for our independence)

from Majapahit Kingdom (12th century) which Dragon was its symbol ... then colonialization during WW 1 and WW 2 (two headed dragon) ... and Indonesia was born 1945 - eagle is the country national emblem

Just corrected a bit, not eagle, but Garuda. Garuda is different with eagle 😁 Garuda is mystical and divine mythology creature also king of the bird and also Vishnu mount. While eagle is just a bird (not mythology creature), eagle is like America symbol.

Garuda in islam is symbolized as Bouraq, the bird that the propet Muhammad flew to the 7th heaven facing Allah, the same bird that was driven by Wisnu, hong or phoenix bird in chinese mytholgy, bird of heaven

Something I want to say here, I think that Indonesia has a long history of culture that has not been fully disclosed yet. How can it not be that each of the 17,000 ++ islands scattered with 1,300 ethnic groups within them has recognized music, song, and dance since ancient times, even before colonialism came. This is partly corroborated by historical evidence in reliefs found in historical relics in temples, manuscripts, and relics that have been found. So that's why this country has so many genres of music and loves music & dance so much. Alffy Rev as one of the talented young generations tributes every year in the Independence Anniversary by his works to his nation for us to remember the process of independence that we achieved in a different way, not through narrative in general but with music, songs, visuals that symbolize the struggle achieved independence. In this video, it symbolizes many meanings through visuals & many genres of song & music. At the beginning of the video, it starts with the beauty of life and nature in the past, then the scenery where there were wars and power struggles during the occupation which was illustrated by the great power of the 2-headed dragon, then how the people suffer and fight back to achieve their independence marked by the flight of a bird (named 'Garuda'=Mythology creatured in a folk legend which is now our national emblem) as a symbol of freedom.

The sound "kecak" you hear is a traditional dance name KECAK from Bali.
you nailed it when you explained the dynamic of the chants... you mentioned the word, kechak.... thats what its called. actually the kechak show as we know now was conceived by german artist named walter spies in collaboration with local artists in 1930s, based on existing traditions of bali. you can say it was actually contemporary art.
You maybe late to watch it for 1 year, but your opinion on that video is almost perfect, good job. Many reaction don't even know the true meaning and maybe don't understand anything but you got understand almost everything 👍

You got it right 👍, There soo much little details here, the little bird is metaphor for every soldier and young people that join force to fought Dutch and japan (2 head Dragon) but still defeated. When dutch and and japan already using gun and cannon, but they still fought fearlessly even just with bamboo spear, sword, and traditional weapon on their hand.
And the last part where's 5 spear is represented 5 ideologies of Indonesia called "Pancasila" the bird called "Garuda" symbol of freedom of Indonesia and it our national animal

The rap part is describes when Nusantara get invanded by colonial and we fell a part (Nusantara is our land called before). That why the blue dragon, the nusantara protector symbol is get defeated like how nusantara get colonize for 350 years. Then, we united again and strive to get our independence and nusantara name change to Indonesia. And the protector symbol of Indonesia now is Garuda (Garuda is divine of mystical creature animal. It from hindu religion mythology. They are been known as a mount of Vishnu, the god of preservation). Hence Garuda which symbolize the preservation of the cosmic order. Also symbolises the virtue of knowledge, power, bravery, loyalty, and discipline This is perhaps one of many reasons why the Indonesian founding-fathers adopted this image as the national emblem.
