I believe it was a light blue wire. The ground wire was easy to tell by wire color. To verify take a multimeter and check continuity with the frame and wire (touch the tab in the fog light connector). Once you figure out which one is ground, you know the other wire is the correct one.
Hey! Thanks for reaching out try this: www.diodedynamics.com/elite-series-fog-lamps-for-2016-2021-honda-civic-pair.html?affiliate_code=Thegaragedad&referring_service=link If that doesn’t work you can use code THEGARAGEDAD to help me out, thanks!
jhpusa.com/products/honda-led-fog-light-wire-harness-2016-civic-2017-civic-type-r-fk8 This is personally what I ordered, but you can probably find it cheaper.
Big thing I’ve noticed is that it spans wider and brighter than the OEM. The yellow gives a nice contrast for the road and it helps to catch animals that are off to the side. Eventually I want to capture some night driving with some rain.
😂 thanks for the reminder, unfortunately making and editing videos has not been on my top priorities. Currently I have a full audio install video recorded pending editing. I’m hoping to do some quick night driving shots in the upcoming fall.
So in doing some quick search on their site, it looks like they don’t offer any fog lights for a 2018 TLX. That being said you could probably take some dimensions of your stock ones and reach out to them for further compatibility questions.
Very clean installation! Thanks for the video!
Excellent install video brother🔥!
What color wire do u connect the wire from the foglight too?

Perfect Kid !!
Thanks for sharing 👍 By chance, do you happen to know if the 2019 Civic Type R will need the same conversion kit?
I believe it does for all the years of the FK8.
@@TheGarageDad perfect, thanks man.
Is there an updated link ? Link doesn’t seem to show fog lights. Thanks

Can i just use the wire harness conversion kit without modifications to connect the fog light!?
Absolutely! I only did this for myself since I just wanted a shorter connection.
Any idea how to wire the backlight , and have it turn on in auto mode during the day for a 2022 accord sport 2.0
Sorry for the delayed response. If you hook it up to the parking lights like I did they come on in auto mode.
Which harness is the one you used? Link would be very helpful. TIA

How do you like it at night time driving after 3 months?
Big thing I’ve noticed is that it spans wider and brighter than the OEM. The yellow gives a nice contrast for the road and it helps to catch animals that are off to the side. Eventually I want to capture some night driving with some rain.
Where is the video driving around with the fog lights on?

What size barrel connectors are those?
It’s a Deutsch DT style connector and if remember correctly the pins I used were for 20-16 awg.
