The boys head over to Rickys house to do a trade for a beautiful Japanese Sega Saturn Ricky bout on an older episode of the show. Gabbo gets gifted a prized Street Fighter figure from a personal collection. Riff makes way to a anime/video game store and finds THE biggest find in all his time hunting for retro video games. I found Probotector 2; Return of the Evil Forces on NES for so cheap I had to open the cart to believe it was real. yepp, it was real! me so happy!

About 6 years ago I brought a boxed Atari 5200 and a bunch of other stuff into a local store and they told me they were too busy for my trade so when another guy came in and wanted my stuff, I started negotiating with him and the store asked me to leave haha

Dude, Adam Korlick goes to Book Off and Hard Off (there's like 4-6 "Off" Stores in Japan) and gets killer deals often. Adrian from Live Action Games went there for me a few weeks ago too, they're also in Hawaii. Very jealous you have access to one.

Sin and Punishment is a great game. Looked like it had an adapter with it. Great score. Also bought back some memories. Just got back from Japan and bought loads at book off. Got a great score for peanuts really.

A couple of weeks ago I actually found a complete in box Sega Master System at a garage sale with 3 complete games for the equivalent of about $30. And it was the Master System Plus bundle too, with the Phaser and everything. That just made the whole thing even more sweet, since I only had a Master System 2 before. Now I can play my Sega Card games!

@@PixelGameSquad It had been a long time since I found any SMS stuff before that, though. But to be fair, the Master System was a lot more popular here in Europe, so the chances to find something should theoretically be better here... But finding anything older than PS2 games has become a rarity, sadly.
I guess it just makes it that much sweeter when you actually get that amazing find. Gotta look at the positive side of things!

Keeping a box of donuts is quite handy in any situation. Buying games from your friends, trying to stay on the good side of the cops when you get pulled over. It can work for any situation. At least all those games went to a good home and that is what truly matters.

nice. i got a similar deal recently. 8 totes of stuff, lots of Saturn stuff including some higher priced stuff for $100. and the best part was that it was only 1/3 of what they had.

Riff--I love that he tried to accept $90 after asking for $100 and you made sure he got what he wanted and that you told him they were worth more than he was asking. That's exactly how our exchange went with our Great Alaskan Pickup series--we told the guy it was worth much more than we were paying, but assured him his stuff was going to a forever home.

I used to have quite a large N64 collection but I think the N64 is the only Nintendo console that has aged really bad! The games just don't look great.
That said, the price you paid for all those was a no brainer... I would had bitten the guys hand off!

This n64 score reminds of the garage sale I went to in August where I got 28 n64 games almost all with manuals with system for $130. What is funny was that it was the only sale I went to that Saturday and it was just few blocks from my home.
