wow was not expecting this. been so obsessed with this album since it released and glad to see you enjoyed it! also big agree on hamptoms (as do a lot of people.) i don’t think it’s necessarily bad but in context of the rest of the album it feels a bit off. aside from that small hiccup this will probably go down as one of my favorites for the year, especially as one that came out of nowhere for me (much like Magdalena Bay did for me with Mercurial World.)
Yo! Coming at ya at 60+. When it comes to music I have a finicky feline kinda itch. When I was a young cat I used to dance under Disco balls. Fast forward a few trillion light years and I discovered Indie Rock. Just WOW, I'm still holding my remaining grey colored whiskers, but must say that this Submarine album is 1 step from being at the top of my modern day cat scratch post. Yeah, I really love it, but Lord Huron still holds the trophy for me. If any of you viewers watch this review, don't hesitate scoring The Marias Submarine album. It's really that good. AAA+++
the daria shirt 🔥. also, I attended the chicago tour stop last week at the salt shed. blur was insane live. I really enjoyed vicious sensitive robot too, especially live. Too many bangers to name rn but the concert was amazing.
to me the first one should be more, the instrumental its so different that they usually use on the songs, could be more cooked. Well at the end i love ths album so much OMG vicious sensitive robot its my favorite at the moment hehehehe

at first i hated hamptons too but if u listen to it again and again and again it’s easily one of the best of the album
