Very good review, i own them for about two years now and more or less agree with everything said. It's all true. Even the prediction that ear pads give in and you will have to replace them is true, they did give in after a bit over a year. Funnily enough both pads burst on almost the same day. I think it's a good daily, they are pretty comfortable imo. Headband can feel weird at times though, i guess its because they are kinda heavy. Also they apparently sound somewhat decent powered-off through AUX, but powered-on through AUX the highs are insanely high lol, so power-on mode is definitely only for wireless.
6:05 As a 60 yo who’s first live concert was AC/DC when they kicked off the Back in Black tour, yep I was there standing 5 rows from the stage, I need that extra sound to compensate for hearing loss! lol Great review and editing! ❤️💪🏼😎👍🏼❤️
I really like your laid-back casual style of reviews, it's really nice to watch, lol. I don't know if you're bothered by wires, but if you really want amazing sound quality, you should review some wired IEM's or headphones. I would really love to see you review them, lol. Here are some iem recommendations for each price range $50- Truthear Zero $80- Moondrop Aria $150 Sennheiser IE200 $320- Moondrop Blessing 3 At this point you can basically stop lol 300 is already pushing it for most people lol.
I don’t have the energy to be so loud all the time, glad you still enjoy the video lol. Wires aren’t that big of a deal to me so Ill add these to my wishlist!
Higher frequencies cause ear damage at loud levels, if you go to bass demos at car shows you'll see cars putting up 140db+ of bass (20-40hz), a regular bass head is driving around with probably 120-130db of bass every day without getting any hearing damage. 130db of higher frequency sound, like 1khz, will DEFINATELY cause permanent damage. The bass slider won't cause hearing damage cuz our ears have evolved to hear higher frequencies better so lower levels actually sound louder compared to lower frequencies at higher levels, we can bump up the loudness of lower frequencies without causing any permanent damage.
Yup they're pretty good! Been using them for a month now and I gotta say that for the first week I felt like I'd made a big mistake. Maybe I should've gone for a low-range AudioTechnica or Beyerdynamic instead? The thought wouldn't leave my head. I like listening to quite diverse genres and the sound can range from acoustic to bass heavy to noisey or shoegazey. When I connected them to my phone (an Android one), I simply didn't like their delivery on the more shoegazey or acoustic songs. Here's what proved to be a game changer: I stopped using the SkullCandy app and used the Wavelet equalizer app. And boy, things changed dramatically. I love my Crusher Evo now.
@lePuru they're cool also the buttons are really efficient they work on pc with small delay but I got used to it but now I deposited it and upgraded to arctis nova pro anyways it's a great headset lasted 2 years with me and I'll give a 8.8/10
My two cons for the evo’s are the fact that they’re not waterproof. And the second con is that the bass slider is kind of loose. If you really lightly pus it up and down it will not just go up and down it will wiggle from side to side too. I think it’s because it’s on a small lever on the right side. Since there’s only one lever it likes to wiggle. They could’ve done two. Otherwise they’re amazing
What is the best choice: Panasonic RB-M700B Deep Bass Wireless Bluetooth Immersive Headphones vs Skullcandy Crusher Evo Over-Ear Wireless Headphones???
I agree brought it recently the bass is insane best headphone i ever owned normally i had a lot of problems with Skullcandy before i hope the pads dont wear out for a long time got them for 169
I got the original crushers of bluetooth 2016 and its still going strong they are awesome. I had to hot glue the ear cuffs a few times but the bass is amazing
For this price I expect the ear buds to last at least a couple of years before giving in on daily use! That was my biggest disappointment about these. Good review, thank you.
Nice review, I have the Evos too. I agree when it comes to imaging and sound mixing etc i love it. I am not sure if that new ANC 2 is as good., Should I stick to the Evos?
If you really want some average noise cancellation and the ability to custom EQ, then go for the ANC 2s. But if you're happy with the Evos, stick with them! You're not missing out on too much
Still plastic? I'll pass. My main issue with the previous Crushers were the plastic joints that have failed me on 2 pairs so far. I love the feel and the bass boost of them; it's why I purchased them again after the destroyed hinges, but man.. some material upgrades would go a long way.

High quality content. Plz make a video where you try different settings with the goal to blow the headphones. That would be very entertaining. Thank you
I had the crusher wireless and after some years of heavy use i got this one a couple of weeks ago and this is what i think of them. Sound: the sound is really good, i like them better than the old gen headphones they made. The bass is very good (not as good but still really good). Comfort: they are not that heavy, they fit around my ears very well. Only thing is that it starts to hurt the top of my head after a while so i need to adjust it. Battery: i still havent charged them. Build quality: i feel like they could’ve built them better. It feels like it will break and when in cycling and its a little windy, all i hear is wind. The buttons are good and the slider is also nice. They are definitly a good pair of headphones, just feel like the old version is much higher quality and better build.
Nice video! Like your style! I have these Evo's and they sound and feel dope!! 💥 But I've noticed, the sensory bass doesn't seems to increase over halfway on the slider... And with mine, ever since they were new, whenever I've turned them on after a few days of it being off, after being connected on BT, as soon as I press play, there's this spiking noise from the left eye cup which sounds a bit like the noise you get when you pull out a microphone... But it only happens once but repeats itself after not having the headphones on for a few days... Wonder if anyone has also experienced this...
What are your go-to gym headphones? (& what would you recommend a very heavy sweater?) Fantastic editing and great video, keep up the excellent work brother.
Honestly my go-tos for the gym are AirPod Pros so I don't really need to worry about sweat with those. I used beats studio 3s for a number of years and they worked well! Thanks for watching :)
is there any way to fix the leakage? I recently got the XM5 and I can't stand the audio leakage on those since people can hear everything from my headphones at only 30% volume
I can’t decide between these or the Anc 2’s for the gym. I know the Anc 2’s sound better, but these look a bit more durable and better built for the gym. Which would you prefer?
The original Skullcrusher are great in the gym as they don’t fall off when training. Are these similar mate? The ANC would fall off when training my chest on a bench.
Got these for a 100 bucks not too long ago and I see that they are still going for 100 which is a great deal for bass heads. I suggest always going movie mode since there is a lack of EQ in the app.
Just got a pair of the Crusher ANC’s. When I lay on a bench, they slide off my head. Tried using a hat to create tension…..no luck. Feels like the ear pieces / drivers are too heavy for the headband. The sound is great. Anyone else have this issue?

@wtfgadget The crushers ear muff is too small. You could replace it with bigger one though. But the quality of sound it really is night and day. I would still get the sony.
@wtfgadget Lol, you don't want the crushers for R&B. If you get the crushers is for bass boosted songs. Trust me, the Sony has the best audio for many things, movies, music, video games. Because of its 360 audio some movies, games and music do feel different as you listening to them.
thx for review i was considering them for 150$ canadian sale off definitly will get them. yea multi input and 3d and max comfort and sound cancel be nice but hey they arent 300
Nice review, it’s my first time to experience the Skullcandy not “schoolcandy “ 😂 honestly it’s a game changer. I have multiple headphones this one is different. Because sometimes I like to feel heavy bass, I like the intensity of its vibration. You can use it as well in different genres and scenarios. Thanks for this review 😊 more power to you.
Would you recommend these? Since my left airpod wont charge anymore, and i was looking for some that goes overear? Are they worth it in ur opinion:) Great vid keep it up!
Thanks for watching! It all depends on you’re budget. If you can spend more theres some really nice overears like the sony xm5. But for this price range, I’d recommend the Skullcandys
@@OfficialMuhh im getting these crusher evos shipped to me. Currently only $140 its on sale atm. I did buy the Sony WH1000 XM4. Which are like $300 to $350. I forget the price of when I bought them. I love them. But I dont think their multipoint is that good. It can connect to 2 devices but I find audio gets stuck to 1 device and wont switch. Its like it keeps thinking there is audio playing when it is paused on my computer. So I have to switch it by manually disconnecting and then also you can only change the settings of it through the app on your phone. Then disconnect it from the phone and then back to computer. That is just my experience and my gripe with them, other than the audio through the wired connection. Idk why but it doesnt sound good wired. (This is probably user error or just something im not getting)... But overall great headphones, great noise cancelling and pretty comfortable. Not as much bass as I would like though. But still good. Definitely the best headphones I have ever used so far. ( and most expensive ones :/ ...) I will update this when I get and test out the crusher evos. To tell you what I think of them. Edit: So I got them and have used them a little bit. Personally I like my Sony WH1000M4's more. However I do think the crusher evos are better at just music (simply because of the very good base on the Evos.) I think the sony's are more comfortable, have a better build quality, more intuitive touch control, better customizability, and has more options along with some very good ANC. The Evos are definitely a good pair of headphones with a ton of bass. Personally it takes a bit of wiggling to get my ears inside. The buttons are a bit less intuitive and feel a bit cheaper than the Sony. It does take less time to charge the Evos but the sony says it has a lot longer of a battery life. The audio of the voice that says "Power On" and etc is definitely worse on the Evos. All in all I would say the Evos are great if you cant spend about twice the amount for the Sony's. And they are not uncomfortable. They feel good just not as luxurious. Great headphones for the price. Atleast at the current price. But if its $200 or more maybe just save up a little bit more for the Sony's

Do they actually reduce background noise? My gym plays pretty loud music and Im debating on getting this but others say they dont cancel it but others say they do

@@MrAnthony992 did you use Skullcandy only for specific song ? like listening to R&Bs
@wtfgadget
Lol, you don't want the crushers for R&B. If you get the crushers is for bass boosted songs.
Trust me, the Sony has the best audio for many things, movies, music, video games. Because of its 360 audio some movies, games and music do feel different as you listening to them.
@@MrAnthony992 damn thanks man. I'll straight getting the XM4
I have use skull candy for years ❤
Are you Joelinton? From Newcastle?
I wish
These headphones are not listed as water resistant or sweat resistant. Skull Candy recommended not sweating in them. Anyone had issues?
you should review the skull candy anc 2 🤔
thx for review i was considering them for 150$ canadian sale off
definitly will get them. yea multi input and 3d and max comfort and sound cancel be nice but hey they arent 300
Thanks for this review 😊 more power to you.
hey question?
would u use them for playing games or smth else too?
Cuz i tent to listen to musik while playing a game so is it worth?
no not for gaming@@toast1410
Would you recommend these? Since my left airpod wont charge anymore, and i was looking for some that goes overear? Are they worth it in ur opinion:)
Great vid keep it up!
Thanks for watching! It all depends on you’re budget. If you can spend more theres some really nice overears like the sony xm5. But for this price range, I’d recommend the Skullcandys
@@occupiedstudios The max amount i would spent is prob about the 250-300 USD price point. :)
( and most expensive ones :/ ...)
I will update this when I get and test out the crusher evos.
But if its $200 or more maybe just save up a little bit more for the Sony's
how's sony Bass tho ? i'm kinda bass-headed but I'd also like the sound separation like those on premium headphones@@SagwaTheChineseSaimeseCat
Great video the only thing id say, is that the reason you have a lot of sound leaking from them is your hair😅 i have a skin fade and get no leaking
i can definitely see the hair being an issue haha
Thank You! Well done!
What is the best choice: Panasonic RB-M700B Deep Bass Wireless Bluetooth Immersive Headphones vs Skullcandy Crusher Evo Over-Ear Wireless Headphones???
Do they actually reduce background noise? My gym plays pretty loud music and Im debating on getting this but others say they dont cancel it but others say they do
They do an alright job, if your music is loud enough it can block out a bit. But best to look for noise cancellation headphones if that's a big concern
@@occupiedstudiosNot a big concern, just one last question. At least what volume percent or bass percent when they start to leak audio?
