Another excellent ride and I'm glad you are living the dream on a modern classic. With so little traffic you have encountered you could be back to the 1950s. Thanks again for sharing this brilliant ride. Cheers Carl 👍
Living in upstate New York for so many years, a joyride may not be so enjoyable because it’s so heavily wooded, you never really know what’s ahead around the bend, or if a vehicle or 🦌 deer is going to dart out. Your rides, for the most part, are open with clear views ahead, and most enjoyable. 🏴🫡🇮🇳
All the years of touring scotland it took till 2years ago to do that route but coming south on it now 3times on bike once in car... fantastic views always less traffic than other routes....braemar has a cafe we had scottish brekkie but the view from table was right next to the amazing river waterfall rough rocks etc brilliant👍👍
Rode that road in August on my Harley from London to Aviemore for Thunder in the Glen, stopped at the same layby and enjoyed the sights from the seats looking down to the castle then on to Grantown on Spey, a wonderful ride, cheers Davy😎
Braemar Castle has been getting renovated for as long as I can remember. I keep expecting you come round the corner only to find the damned thing open ;-)
Another fine job. Recording, editing and commentary all top notch. That 99 highway was gorgeous. Always love seeing trees. I'm not sure how effective they are, but I mounted a deer whistle on my fork brace. We have wooden covered bridges in NB. The longest covered bridge in the world is in Hartland. Gota love when the 350 sound drops a couple octaves when it grits its teeth climbing a hill. These bikes are definitely a throwback to the 60s without the worry of carb and points adjustments. I bought small Japanese bike pannier supports and installed leather bags as they suited my bike. As always, cheers. 🥃
Scenery from tea @shea to Braemar is fabulously beautiful. The glen it self was a bit chilly, the day I did in opposite direction. So nice to see . Not driven bike over the lecht either. The Wee bike is a legend, Bruce. Hopefully meet up into next year if your up this way. Defo think my riding days for year are drawing to close, too cold for me. Already feeling buy fingers and toes cold, and that’s in the house. 300 miles in the one day, is some doing. That stretch turning onto A939, scares me, with traffic, as other drivers go to fast, I have had so many nearlys.. Pee stop…….lol, I need a stoma empty spot, needs must I guess 😂. Look forward to next one. Cheers Bruce, excellent footage, mars normall.😊
Thanks Mark, got a few more films to edit and publish before our days ride but getting there! You have to ride over the Lecht! Next year we will both do it! 😁👍👍👍
Hi i have watched all your videos on the classic 350 & enjoyed every one of them but when you put the 350 on top of that look out post in your last video was something else. All the best Baz
You’re a rich man Bruce ! We have awesome scenery here in the Lakes but so much busier, the visiting city dwellers are seemingly out to kill bikers, they haven’t for a clue how to drive on these narrow Lake District roads, great series here and ride safe. For us aspiring 350 tourers let’s see what tools you bring along, do you take one of those emergency aerosols for puncture repair, Motol do one that’s suitable for tubed and tubeless tyres.
We are indeed blessed up here Adrian, I carry some car tyre weld along with a pair of inner tubes, patches, levers and pump, I’m a proper prepper! 🤣🤣🤣😁👍
Really enjoying your videos Bruce ,totally agree with you about the classic 350 being a worthy tourer very good economy allied to exceptional comfort makes for effortless mileage, 👌
These are the second pair of pattern eBay ones I had to buy after first pair rotted out in 6 months!, these ones I recoloured with army blanco but there essentially the same so I imagine they will fall to bits after 6 months use, I do believe Hitchcocks U.K. are bringing out there own canvas panniers via a U.K. manufacturer and if so I will end up buying them once these ones are kaput 😁👍

They are great bikes! And great value! 👍
Bruce, how are you getting on with these Royal Enfield canvas panniers?
These are the second pair of pattern eBay ones I had to buy after first pair rotted out in 6 months!, these ones I recoloured with army blanco but there essentially the same so I imagine they will fall to bits after 6 months use, I do believe Hitchcocks U.K. are bringing out there own canvas panniers via a U.K. manufacturer and if so I will end up buying them once these ones are kaput 😁👍
Second breakfast, is your name pippin? 😅
Yes, it is! 🤣🤣🤣😁💪
