  • The historic Royal Enfield Classic 500 is no more. To replace it, Royal Enfield has introduced the new Classic 350 to compliment their ever expanding 350cc range of motorcycles.
    Redesigned from the ground up, the stunning Classic 350 is reborn!
    If you're looking to upgrade from a 125cc or just wanting to calm things down but not compromise on style, then Royal Enfield's Meteor, Classic and Hunter range of motorcycles may just be the bikes you've been looking for.

    had my classic 350 in Halcyon Black a few months now must admit its one bike that puts a smile on my face every time we go out its just pure motorcycling .I have had a lot of motorcycles over the years but so far this has been the best value and most fun.

    It was also called as 'Fut Fatti '😀. We Indians loved to call a bike before the 1990s era as Fut Fatti because all bikes were 2 strokes. Love from India for your content😘

    I just had a test ride today on the Classic 350 as I want to upgrade from a Honda CB125...all I can say is what a bike! smooth, nice power in all gears which coming from a 125cc believe it or not gives you a bit of a rush. This bike is the right move for anyone stepping up to the next size from a 125cc. Maybe after that, and if I can afford it, a Triumph Speed Twin 900 would be nice!

    As a person who is 5ft tall, can confirm, on the margin 4 cm can make a difference, particularly when it goes from a bike which I can get toes on both sides of to one I have to manage with one foot on the ground. Being forced to one foot makes you look more skilled than you are, though.

    It would look more retro with a kickstart but as far as starting it if the battery is flat I dont think that is possible as you need the battery to power the fuel pump with it being an efi but I could be wrong

    I'm currently looking to get my first Royal Enfield in India. And I'm confused between Meteor 350 and Classic 350. I'm 6 feet tall and my partner 5.7 I'm more of nature admired and I can't see my self riding over 70mlph. Which bike would you suggest? I'm looking more into comfort level. Thanks

    • @TheBikingActor
      @TheBikingActor  ปีที่แล้ว

      I love my Classic 500 but would be tempted with the Super Meteor. I believe the Meteor 350 has an ever so slightly lower seat, so may suit your partner more but both are fab. Classic probably has a more upright seated position to the Meteor’s cruiser style. It all goes down to which bike speaks to you as both will offer the same performance. Good luck.

    • @nuttybrown7318
      @nuttybrown7318 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheBikingActor thanks so much. A positive feedback really helps. I'll keep meteor my first preference as it's slightly more modern and cruiser type. No doubt I'll see hundreds of classic bikes on Indian roads. I'm sure meteor will make an attraction. Cheers and happy riding. Btw, subscribing now. You doing a good job

    Dies it throw some heat from the engine?

    • @PhilipBallGarry
      @PhilipBallGarry 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not really. I tried one back to back with the SM650 which gets quite hot against your left knee. The Classic 350 doesn't have any hot spots at all.

  • @richardyardley5127
    @richardyardley5127 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    They've done a great job with the all new 350 but the Classic 500 it isn't. The 500, with it's original mono frame, gently evolving through the decades, is the original and best in my opinion. The 350, good as it is, is simply a homage to the original machine. It's also slower and unlike the original 500, which has hydraulic tappets, it's an expensive 'tank off' job to adjust the tappets at each service with the 350....

    • @TheBikingActor
      @TheBikingActor  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear you. I’m so glad to have one of the last 500’s.

      Having mine for 2.5 months, and just finished with the first service, I can state that it's the only negative I can find so far. I luckily found a great local shop to do the valves, and I can do the rest. Dealers wanted $500US and $630US for that and I almost died laughing...
      Otherwise, it's a perfect bike for the purpose I bought it!
      Ride Safe 🙏🏼

      @@GaryShellberg Oh, I know that, but I figured I'd play it safe and get a certified shop to do it for warranty records. My son did two of them and it took a couple hours.

    It's a 650 'Classic ' I'm waiting for , no idea why they didn't do that in the first place , a 350 is a bit of 'wet lettuce' kind of novelty/girls bike .

    • @TheBikingActor
      @TheBikingActor  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’m sure a 650 will follow. Clearly the 350’s are financially beneficial and a great way to get new riders onto the RE brand. The 350’s have been huge in India for years so it’s nice that they’ve finally made their way over to the UK (albeit at Classic 500 prices!) Personally I can’t wait to try the “Super” Meteor 650 when it’s available. Safe riding.
