      I wish I had half the stuff he has... I'm stuck using an angle grinder and my welding machine because the power in my garage sucks. I have a Dewalt cutoff saw and a drill press I cant run.

    • @terryhites1
      @terryhites1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The skills he has is amazing... my fabrication only comes in the form of fabricating a story to save my ass!

  • @AddictedtoProjects
    @AddictedtoProjects 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Don't listen to the haters man. I fabricate a lot of stuff in my home shop, and I have to do EVERYTHING with a bloody grinder and saws. I hate it! I have CNC envy, but I'm not going to shit talk you, because I'm jealous. I'm going to do something about it and buy myself one. Cause I can see that what you can acomplish with it is amazing! I love your videos, and I think your editing style is great. It always seems to be a good mix, and you don't dwell too long on any one thing, until it gets boring. Thumbs up!

    There are people in the world and if you gave them a bar of gold, they would ask why didn’t you polish this???? Continue to do you. I’m amazed that you work a full time job, run a homestead and a family, still find time to build these incredible vehicles and video it for our enjoyment. Keep doing what you do please because it’s an inspiration. I’m 65 and as my grandchildren say, haters gonna hate. 😂 Also you saved another vehicle from the scrap bin. Thank you.

    re: CNC. This is not a "how to make this in the viewer's home shop" type video, if it were, then yeah, manual marking and cutting is appropriate. This video is about how Mike Festiva made it in his shop.
    Use the best tools for the job, don't waste time doing things the hard way, unless the video is an instructional how-to with minimum viable tools.

    To anyone complaining about watching Mike's CNC table in operation:
    Consider that it takes him considerable time and effort to make these videos, and share his skills, and (and least to my mind) all that great content we get for free gives him the right to plug a tool that any of us could use, and from which he will (rightly) get a little kick-back if we buy through his link (and save ourselves money in the process). He's not asking a lot, and personally I don't mind watching it anyway!
    As the old saying goes: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." So why not just do your bit to support the channel by simply keeping quiet?

    I can't believe there's loads of people bitching about whatever and making you worry about catering to them.
    No doubt half these people couldn't put together even a quarter of what you have in this series.
    You do you, the people who truly appreciate your content aren't going anywhere.

    Another great video! I enjoy the Drum break,you certainly have a lot of talent! From your fabrication skills,to welding to building. Tool talk with Mike sounds very interesting. I would definitely tune in for that. I love tool reviews/talks about them.

    Mike love your builds and the artistry of your videos. I like the CNC segments! Don't worry about the haters my man, they are so few. Keep the faith and the builds coming!

    That's what the WEB is for: Sitting on the Sofa and watching cool people working. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD!!
    Mike, if you have one day no more idea for a new projekt( 🤣) ,have a look at the first Mercedes Benz UNIMOG from the 1950s. It's look is comparable with the Pinz. I would be very interested in mini version.

    Maybe on one of the shop talks you could talk about when you started figuring out you liked building/fabrication and how you got into it. Or why you got into it! I’d watch it!
