    I had CMV with my first child. I research it at UCLA, it come to USA during late 60's to 70's.
    My Dr said you put 100 baby in the nursing, 70% will test with CMV in some form. 1 baby might be affected. My daughter was born healthy, she stayed in the hospital for a extra day of testing to make sure. I am so sorry you had such a bad case!

      Prayers aren't going to heal anything. Prevention is the answer.

      @@pearlbonnie1369 Prevention is the key but prayer gives hope and strength to families. She will probably never be healed but she can learn and love!

      @@cindygarwood109 What is the mechanism by which prayer gives hope and strength? What are you doing when you pray? Are you talking to a god and asking the god to do something, or are you just talking to yourself?
