It's not " borderline screaming" it IS screaming. That is literally the technique that allows Travis to make the sounds safely.
These songs actually have a lot of deep meanings. They're are truly intelligent men. And Travis Ryan is a beast. He's a super nice man.
This song has a very strong black metal influence compared to most cattle decap songs. Making this probably the first band ever where a black metal influence means a softer song.

Whatever you do DO NOT try and find the real video, it is legitimately the worst thing myself or anyone I know has seen on the internet, it makes Kingdom of Tyrants look like Pokemon.
Yeah those slow melodic riffs are very black metal metal as well as the tremolo picking and the high screams

@@GiddyKitty I would say it is one of their most well rounded songs and it has some clean singing in it that really sets it apart from their other songs. There is actually a professionally produced music video of it called the Unerasable Past and its very good.
NeonBlud But it’s like 15 minutes long lol. Kinda takes away from the approachability to people not really into that kind of think. Amazing song though

Awww!, you finally did it and took the plunge into the world of Cattle Decapitation. Not going to lie but the look of total confusion on your face in some of that was actually pretty cute. They're not the easiest band to get into but some of their stuff is far more brutal than what you reacted too here. The question is, how far down the rabbit hole dare you go?. 😬😉

You should’ve started metal with something light hearted like Metallica or Judas Priest
She did. She has a couple of Pantera, Metallica and even Dream Theater reactions uploaded. It's just that she was *not* ready for Cattle Decap yet. Very few are ready when they're not battle hardened veterans in death metal or grindcore who already have heard Vital Remains or Brujeria. And Kingdom of Tyrants is not exactly a good song to begin with (none are, but the closest would be The Carbon Stampede)

Try Death Atlas (song). It only has an audio video, and it's about how we're killing earth and stuff. Very melodic and has a singing part in it.

This is way better than Kpop. Funny enough when u go thru more emotions in life I feel like u enjoy more things of emotion such as this. For example, this band is vegan because they feel the negative aspects of animal agriculture
hehe the pure blasting-screaming parts.. that's an acquired taste but keep trying more death metal and you'll see just how good Travis Ryan's vocal style is compared to a lot of other vocalists. Also, their lyrics are worth reading.

Despite personal prefferences, Cattle Decapitation has truly evolved A LOT when it comes to their sound. Their latest album is a masterpiece.

That other song is more about the shock factor of the video and not for there music but it still is an acquired taste. I personally respect wat they're doing but I don't listen to this style. I prefer symphonic and melodic metal like Septic Flesh, Mayan, Delain, Amorphis, In mourning and stuff like that. You should check it, I think you will be surprised how it sounds.
