Hi! So as a trans woman, and a metalhead, I love this song! The video depicts an assumed transphobic person having an experience getting a "forced gender reassignment"
Of course I realize this song is extreeeeeemely brutal so I dont go around showing this to Kpop fans. So, good on you for looking at it :D

This song is about forcing people who hate transgender folks into living the life of a transgender person so that they understand what it’s like. Very interesting concept to me. It’s all about forcefully making bullies live in the shoes of those they prey upon.
I mean it’s funny and campy, but in no way does it offer anything truly useful to the dialectic of trans issues, nor was it intended to. I don’t think anyone really “hates” transgender folks. From what I have noticed, trans folks are usually the “bullies” when it comes to these types of incidents and confrontations, essentially making demands and forcing people into certain things, lest they be deemed a bigot or to have some sort of phobia. Given that context, the song is a bit ironic.
I have empathy for people who experience gender dysphoria. It sounds awful and I would wish it upon no one. But is genital mutilation and cross dressing the answer? Frankly, I don’t know. But it doesn’t seem healthy. It may put one’s mind at ease, but it seems like just like putting a band aid over the entire issue rather than actually getting to the root cause.

Your interpretation of the song is wrong. It's pro LGBTQ. Itsa a song about tourturing people (specifically the religious right in America) who want to deny that community their rights and dignity.
What your not realizing is that Forced Gender Reassignment is their most popular song and the vocalist sings this song hundreds of times a year. You should watch a live performance of the song.

Saying it's their most popular song is a stretch. It's been a mainstay of their setlist but they've been a band for well over 20 years and they have a number of songs just as popular as Forced Gender Reassignment that are also mainstays of their setlist.

Basically, this song speaks against transphobia and empathizes with gender dysphoria but still, it is really bizarre. I've seen video and it has gore but fortunately, I don't have a weak stomach. Lol. Thanks God, you haven't watched the video.

Ironically, the video drives the point even further by making the victims a couple who attends Westboro Baptist Church (you know, the assholes who go to funerals of gay people with "God Hates Fags" signs? Those), and forcing them to live as a couple after performing a double (homemade and with no anesthesia) gender reassignment. And yes, I did see it, with my best friend and his girlfriend (poor fools thought they could handle it. Didn't puke, but left with poker faces and understanding why the video got banned from YT). I would forgive anyone who doesn't want to watch it, but it kinda gives a bit more of context of why this is a anti-transphobia song (even when the message is delivered deathgrind style)
@@GiddyKitty it's just delivered in an extreme way. It's about forcing someone to undergo reassignment surgery and to live as there opposite gender. So that they can feel how gender dysphoria is. Honestly as a trans person I can say gender dysphoria is horrible they tried to convey that message
I mean I don’t really care how people want to live their lives but this song is not speaking against transphobia. It’s not pro LGBTQ at all, literally the whole song is about them forcing transgenderism to control the worlds population. Like there’s literally a line in the song where he says “an evolution of the self destructing human parasite” idk maybe I’m missing something but......

This perticular song is a comment on Westboro Baptist church and other organisations that have disagreable views of the LGBTQ movement.

The song lyrically is kinda comical and doesn’t take itself too seriously, but the characters are 1) the mad surgeon and 2) the religious bigot (think westboro baptist church member) being ‘forced’ to live as a marginalized person who the religious bigot discriminates against/hates.
cattle decap are pro-LGBT and pretty consistently lean far-left of center. especially when it comes to subjects like testing on animals, how mankind is killing the earth and the environment, and so on.
highly recommend this band.
Forced Gender Reassignment explains in graphic detail a fictional gender reassignment surgery. The gore is just a medium to make political statements, however, this song describes the struggles of life with gender dysphoria.

Ah those facial expressions were glorious to behold. I think you went through several different ones in the space of a few seconds. Aren't you glad that you often times can't understand the lyrics in death metal? Also if you do this again I would recommend taking a wide berth around most death metal bands/core especially Cannibal Corpse and Infant Annihilator

@@GiddyKitty I actually don't know this Cattle Decap song, but going of their other work, they wouldn't be very clear as Travis does have a unique high pitched scream and adds gutturals occasionally. If you're referring to the 2 bands then for Cannibal Corpse growling all the way and in case of Infant Annihilator there is also some high pitched screams and gutturals added (mostly the case in deathcore).
GiddyKitty The guy suggested a good but brutal band. React to Infant Annihilator. Either Soil the Stillborn or Blasphemian will do. Or Unholy Gravebirth. The Intro to that would be enough to give you nightmares for a month. Then after that, you can check out Acrania (less gory lyrics, more about society and politics) and Signs of the Swarm. These are all deathcore bands, which tend to be more fast paced and brutal than death metal bands.
Cattle Decapitation is not for everyone. I'm glad you did a lyric video. The music video is disturbing. The video would traumatize you. Great video by the way.

14:00 Just wait until you read some Carcass lyrics. Not only they sound even harder and dirtier than Cattle Decap, but there was a time when they thought they were medical students because of how accurately gruesome their lyrics are, and the extreme details they had of real and fictional medical conditions. In reality, they had a medical dictionary, but nothing else relating them to medicine.
And the music video of this song is exactly what you think it is based on the lyrics. A double gender reassignment, in gore and gutsy fashion, and some not so religion friendly messages (the victims were members of Westboro Baptist Church. Do I need to say more?). Not something I think you're ready for. That said though, I at least expected you to react to the song, even if not to the music video. But it was so much fun watching you go from "this might not be so bad" to "I need the f*cking brain bleach right now", that I can't complain you didn't react to the song.
